Tucked away in 400 acres of beautiful Somerset countryside, Secret Valley is a relaxed and wonderfully unique wedding venue where you can bring your whole celebration together in one place.

Exchange your vows beside our secluded lake, celebrate in the rustic Quantock Barn, and have your closest friends and family stay with you in our 30 on-site cabins and glamping accommodation – all surrounded by meadows, woodland and our vineyard.

Quantock Barn

Our spacious, wooden-clad Quantock Barn is a beautiful blank canvas for your wedding reception, accommodating up to 200 guests.

Make the space completely your own, with the freedom to choose your preferred caterers, suppliers and styling. The adjoining commercial-style kitchen provides plenty of space for your catering team, while tables and chairs are available as part of the venue.

Lakeside Weddings

For an unforgettable outdoor ceremony, our private lake provides one of the most romantic settings at Secret Valley.

Say your vows overlooking the picturesque island, surrounded by countryside and up to 200 of your favourite people. Afterwards, gather beneath the magnificent old oak tree for drinks, canapés and lawn games before making the short walk to the Quantock Barn for your reception.

One of the things couples love most about Secret Valley is having everything in one place.

Your guests can stay on-site, your ceremony and reception are within walking distance, and there's no need to organise transport between different venues. Instead of your wedding feeling like just a few hours, you can turn it into a relaxed countryside celebration with the people who matter most.

For smaller weddings of up to 40 guests, our charming Owl Barn and Secret Garden provide beautiful, intimate alternatives.

To hire out the Quantock Barn & Lakeside Ceremony (which holds up to 200 guests) comes at a total cost of £2,750 - £4,250 (Lowest Price is Low Season Midweek & Highest Price is High Season Weekend). To hire the Quantock Barn this comes at £2,500 - 4,000 (Lowest Price is Low Season Midweek & Highest Price is High Season Weekend). To hire out the Lakeside & Secret Garden (can hold up to 150 guests) this comes at a cost of £12,50. To hire out alone the Lakeside ( can hold up to 150 guests) is £1,000. Weekend High Season: £5,500 (July, August & Early September - Including Bank Holidays). Midweek High Season (Tuesday or Wednesday) £4,500 (July, August & Early September -Including Bank Holidays). QUANTOCK BARN & LAKESIDE PRICES: Weekend Low Season, £5,250 (April, May, June, late September & October -Excluding Bank Holidays). We had our wedding at secret valley and it was beyond perfect. The lake location is absolutely stunning for the ceremony and there are so many incredible spaces for beautiful pictures. All our guests were able to stay and they loved the accommodation and the fact there was plenty for them to do in the down time over the weekend, including swimming in the lake, the games barn and the animals. If you are looking for a wedding venue with a relaxed vibes where you can spend as much time with loveWe had our wedding at secret valley and it was beyond perfect. I had my wedding here, and I honestly cannot recommend this venue enough. I don't even know where to begin! Will and his entire team were so welcoming, friendly, and incredibly easy to talk to. I had countless questions throughout the planning process, and they always replied promptly with the most helpful responses. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and they really went above and beyond to make everything as stress-free as possible. I had my wedding here, and I honestly cannot recommend this venue enough. I don't even know where to begin! Will and his entire team were so welcoming, friendly, and incredibly easy to talk to. I had countless questions throughout the planning process, and they always replied promptly with the most helpful responses. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and they really went above and beyond to make everything as stress-free as possible.

My wife and I recently hosted our Wedding at Secret Valley, and we cannot recommend this place highly enough! The team were an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout the organisation of the Wedding and on the weekend itself, big shout out to both Lucy and Will for being so great! The venue is absolutely stunning, the lakeside made a really special place to have our ceremony and the barn was the perfect blank canvas to realise our dream of a festival themed wedding! The accommodation options are all brilliant, with all the amenities you need to have a very comfortable few days. The wine they make is top notch so I can also highly recommend getting a bottle (or three) of the rose! If you are thinking of hiring this venue either for a wedding or an event, or even just to stay for a little getaway, you won't regret it!My wife and I recently hosted our Wedding at Secret Valley, and we cannot recommend this place highly enough! We wanted a relaxed environment with lovely natural backdrop! We certainly got that... vineards, christmas trees, lakes, forests!
