Our venue is designed to protect and celebrate its natural surroundings, with initiatives like planting 30 trees for every wedding booked, plus local and sustainable sourcing, including our beer partnership with Thornbridge Brewery. You can have the wedding of your dreams while knowing you're minimising environmental impact.
Royle Forest is truly unique. Your ceremony can take place in a rustic stone chapel surrounded by trees, and the celebration continues across 5 stunning tipis, complete with a firepit courtyard, a silo cocktail bar, a snug lounge, and a glowing LED dance floor. Every structure has been carefully curated to blend style with comfort, creating a space that’s both beautiful and functional in any weather.
Our venue pricing is transparent - from tipis and furnishings to lighting, generators, luxury toilets, and your own wedding planner & on-the-day co-ordinator - all of which are included. With no rigid timeline or format, you’re free to shape the day exactly how you want it.

Rachel ran the day perfectly and nothing was too much trouble. I felt like a princess. Thank you Rachel and Fraser. You made our day perfect. Choosing this venue to create the most beautiful memories with all the people we love, as we entered life as husband and wife, was hands down the best decision we made outside of actually deciding to get married. No picture will ever do this venue justice and the sheer atmosphere the forest, tipis and grounds will create for one of the most special days of your life is worth it!I can’t quite put into words Royle Forest… as it truly is other worldly. Choosing this venue to create the most beautiful memories with all the people we love, as we entered life as husband and wife, was hands down the best decision we made outside of actually deciding to get married. We couldn’t have asked for more support and encouragement in our planning process! Our coordinator Rachel is an absolute machine and had everything nailed down perfectly ( I don’t know how she does it and keeps a smile on her face honestly! ) The venue itself is simply amazing, beautiful surroundings with such a chilled atmosphere, we have had so many comments from our guests!From our initial viewing of the venue through to the big day the team at Royle Forest were nothing short of incredible. The ceremony area with it's stoned wall, historic pews and twinkly lights provided the most magical and romantic atmosphere. In a world where you scrutinise every wedding detail and decision, RF was the first and only venue we went to visit, because from the second we were there, there was no doubt in our mind we needed to get married there. If that alone isn't enough to convince you, c'mon, have you seen how stunning the venue is?! I don't think I've ever been somewhere that even the bathroom gets just as many compliments as the rest of the place!Where do I even begin to tell you how incredible Royle Forest are? E V E R Y . W E D D I N G - At Royle Forest our aim is to ensure that each and every wedding is special. Our team goes above and beyond and our target is that the couple and every single guest on the day ends up leaving saying that is the best wedding they have ever been to! This venue is guaranteed to get your guests excited when you send your invitation cards out. We are a brand new concept to the industry and you cannot find a more unique but awesome setup for your magical day.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
R E L A X - Your day will be action-packed with everyone wanting your attention throughout the day. To ensure you slow the day down and get those moments where you can really take it all in, we recommend finding 5 minutes of 'couple time' throughout the day to sit down and watch all your guests gathered their to celebrate your day and have a great time.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
L A S T . D A N C E - As a special touch, this is now something we offer to all our couples, as the days are action packed. To help couples get another extra special moment, once the guests have left, we are happy to stoke a firepit up and put a playlist of your choosing back on so you can have a last dance and some peace and quiet by the fire, to soak in your wedding day and take it all in.

We have worked with a photographer since day one of building this magical venue, meaning there are many special places to take photos throughout the venue
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We have one booked in but we want to keep this private to allow them to have a relaxing time, this couple found us looking for unique venues that were up and coming within the UK but also something that is completely different. That is how they described us!
What’s your favourite canapé?
Spiced plum chutney and Somerset blue cheese tart. This is not your average wedding canape, however we feel one that fits our venue with being unique and adventurous but overall an amazing experience.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Sugar covered profiteroles with a melted chocolate is a winner any day, the perfect energy pickup to carry on with the celebrations!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
This is a hard one, so we must name two.
1. The Forest Chapel in the middle of the forest where you get married, hand built by ourselves and the family.
2. The celebration setup, you will struggle to find a cooler bar and dancefloor!
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Where to start. Royle Forest is an absolute labour of love for our family and I must say this is what we are most proud of. The fact that this venue has been hand built down to every last detail by the family is a feat you do not hear of every day. Having the confidence to push the wedding industry by offering something completely and totally unique was a risk but one that we are finding is paying off with the feedback we have received since opening in April 2022. There seems to be a desire for something different that gets guests excited again and offers a day that truly is magical.
