With 10 bedrooms in the main house and 5 self-catering apartments allowing up to 40 guests to stay, your nearest and dearest can be close by throughout your time with us. If you are considering your ceremony here, you can choose from the beautiful gardens, meadow field, or if you prefer an indoor setting, we have a number of spaces within the house each with its own character, so you can have the perfect ceremony setting that's right for you.
Our menus - ideas and guidance for you to create your perfect Wedding Breakfast. Whether your a true foodie or or just like a good meal, as traditional or as informal as you like, the choices are endless.
Dance into the evening and small hours, whether you choose our resident DJ to host your night, or a musician to bring the party, we can help with all of the arrangements. The same goes for dressing the beautiful wedding spaces! We have our own dedicated venue stylist, on hand to make the place sparkle. Not to mention some AMAZING local suppliers we're privileged to work with, from getting pampered and glammed to preparing you to take to the floor for your first dance, we can help guide and recommend the dream team for your day.

From the whole aesthetic of the place to the support we received right through our whole wedding process. They were always on hand to answer our questions during the planning process and on the day all the co-ordinators and staff were amazing. We made use of the gorgeous rooms and apartments the night before the wedding which started off our excitement. The bridesmaids and I had the most gorgeous morning getting ready in the bridal prep room where we were able to relax, eat breakfast, drink some prosecco and start the vibes! We didn't have to worry about anything throughout the day as the wonderful staff had organised things so well which meant we could truly just soak in our day. The rooms were lovely and clean, very high standard The view is amazing, could sit outside with a coffee and chill watching the view Breakfast was great, anything and everything, service was just nice, the staff made us feel welcome The gardens are kept well, nice to walk around Totally recommend holding your event at Roundthorn The food was outstanding, especially the pudding Great location for my daughter wedding, staff so nice, helpful and made the day special. Breathtakingly beautiful venue and grounds, the food was simply divine and the service to match. The entire day was a dream come true, which was a huge thanks to Siobhan. I walked into roundthorn to view the venue, burst into tears and cancelled any other viewings as I knew this is where I wanted and I was so right. My dream wedding, was a reality thanks to Roundthorn. Breathtakingly beautiful venue and grounds, the food was simply divine and the service to match. Grounds were so pretty.. They were organised and so helpful through planning our wedding. Always available to offer advice and reassurance and nothing was a problem. On the day, I could not fault how professional they were. As soon as we arrived at the venue, there were 2 chilled glasses of prossecco waiting for us. The staff were so cheerful and lovely whilst dishing out the canapes to our guests. The venue its self is set with such stunning surroundings! The team at Roundthorn were fantastic from start to finish. They were organised and so helpful through planning our wedding. Everyone felt special and every need was catered for. As a bride, from the first time you greeted us with bottomless jugs of coffee and gave us as much time as we needed to scrutinse you (!) I knew that that The Roundthorn was a hidden gem. Anouska looked after us the whole time and was just incredible, as is the whole entire team.. The venue itself is just stunning. A perfect, cosy setting with everything you need all in one place. The food was to die for, everyone agreed!! The amount of guests who told us how much of an amazing time they had, blew us away and that was all down to Roundthorn team!
