Wedding Receptions & Ceremonies at the Queens Head Inn are as important to us as they are to the Bride & Groom. Excellent food & drink, caring & attentive staff, a charming atmosphere and a fabulous setting alongside the River Nene will make your wedding reception a memorable occasion. This popular wedding venue near Peterborough provides an idyllic & peaceful setting for wedding receptions & wedding ceremonies The traditional Inn, warm hospitality, superb food from locally sourced produce and the setting on the banks of the River Nene combine to make this one of the most sought after wedding venues in Northamptonshire. The Queens Head is licensed by Northamptonshire County Council as an approved venue for wedding & civil ceremonies. There are 3 rooms which are licensed for between 10 and 80 people. For the wedding reception the bright, air conditioned, Garden Room can comfortably accommodate up to 80 guests for a sit down wedding reception and has a dance floor for evening receptions and that all important first dance. If you would like to have a wedding reception in a marquee then we can provide quotations for a marquee to be erected on the lawn by the River Nene and personalised to your own requirements. Exclusive use of the Queens Head Inn for your wedding ceremony & reception can be arranged at an additional cost - please ask to discuss this with our wedding co-ordinator. If you choose the Queens Head Inn for your wedding reception you can relax with your guests in the knowledge that our experienced staff will help and advise you from the initial enquiry, through all the planning stages to the table plan and final numbers. On the day you can sit back and enjoy the occasion, secure in the knowledge that every detail will have been taken care of exactly as agreed

We got married on the 16th of August 22 . Paul his lovely wife and great staff were fantastic !. Everything he promised about the day was delivered and more. We got married on the Saturday and made a weekend of it with friends and family staying the Friday also. We booked out all the 10 rooms and they were good value for money and the breakfasts was lovely. The venue itself is so pretty with the lake and the thatched pub. Thank you for a day we will never forget.We got married on the 16th of August 22 . Paul his lovely wife and great staff were fantastic !. Everything he promised about the day was delivered and more.
