Pentillie Castle sits in the heart of a privately owned 1,500-acre estate on the beautiful Cornish banks of the River Tamar. The enchanting, outstretched countryside views, extensive mature gardens, and secluded setting, provide the most spectacular backdrop to celebrate your wedding.
Pentillie is yours exclusively for your celebrations, including its 11 luxuriously appointed bedrooms, accommodating up to 22 of your closest friends and family. Though grand in the name, the Castle is incredibly intimate by nature, offering the perfect venue for a romantic elopement, an intimate wedding for up to 22 or a larger gathering for up to 60 (with up to 60 additional evening guests). For larger celebrations of up to 200 guests, there are a number of incredible and inspirational spaces for a marquee.
The extensive grounds offer a host of stunning indoor and outdoor ceremony locations. Choose from the quaint riverside Victorian Bathing Hut, the romantic wisteria-clad Pavilion or one of the picturesque garden settings.
However you envisage your special day, Pentillie's dedicated Weddings Manager will be on hand to help you arrange as much or as little of your wedding as you like. Choosing Pentillie as your wedding venue, allows you the flexibility and freedom to plan your dream wedding as you picture it!

It's my responsibility to carry these out to your exact detail. I'll be here with you from your initial viewing through to the actual day, and beyond. Pentillie Castle is exclusively yours for your wedding celebrations. The elegant Dining Room provides the perfect setting for your wedding breakfast, seating up to 60 guests throughout the day and up to 100 guests for an evening reception. For larger gatherings of up to 250 guests, the Castle and views provide the most magnificent backdrop for a marquee. Our dedicated Weddings Manager will help to plan as much or as little of your day as you wish, with our handpicked list of local suppliers to recommend. You can choose from one of our many indoor or outdoor ceremony locations and enjoy exclusive use of the Castle and its extensive facilities, including its luxurious accommodation for up to 22 guests. A minimum of 2 nights hire is required or 3 nights when celebrating with a marquee, all food and drink is in addition. Based on 2023 prices.

My wife is a real stickler for perfection and works within hospitality management. So her standard's are very hard to meet. At no point was there ever an issue. Nothing was too much effort.
