Pennard House - Somerset

5* doesn’t do Pennard House justice! Myself and my new husband are totally in love with Pennard House where we had our wedding just over a week ago. It will forever hold a very special place in our hearts – my husband is already wanting to host his 40th birthday there in a few years time! The whole team at Pennard have been AMAZING from start to finish and made the day seamless :). The location is unbeatable in the stunning Somerset countryside.

I could not have hoped for a better place to have my daughter’s wedding. The attention to detail from Hannah and the staff was outstanding and the venue is also very special. The food, from canapés through to the pizzas was awesome. A special wedding in a very special place. Thank you!

We are completely blown away by our experience at Pennard that we are struggling to find our words of gratitude. The amount of compliments we have received about the day! A special thank you for the care of Bills’ grandad on the day. This was his first trip out for quite some years and he felt so cared for and effortlessly managed. Thank you especially to Denise and Lucy! We were so grateful for our hour of sunshine and despite the forecast, you worked so hard to get us some time outside!

From the moment we visited Pennard House we knew we wanted to get married there and from start to end it was an absolute joy to plan our wedding with the team. Charlie was our wedding coordinator and I cannot thank him enough. We broke the mould by having a marquee in the garden and nothing we requested phased Charlie or was too big of an ask, he made the whole process a breeze. Over the weekend Charlie was a dream and everything ran so perfectly.

I’ve just about stopped crying happy tears about how amazing the wedding was! We don’t even know where to start with saying thank you to Hannah, Ellie, Denise, and every single person at Pennard House! The whole wedding from start to finish was absolutely everything we could have wished for and more. There is genuinely nothing we would have changed, even the rain in the morning! Thank you especially for being so accommodating with allowing us to make the decision on the outside ceremony so late

Lucy, Ellie, Denise and the entire team were fantastic from the moment we booked the venue. We felt very much like Pennard House was our home and felt completely taken care of and the team ensured we could just enjoy our day. No request was too much and the team were always there to help and make sure we had the most special wedding day. The house is stunning, the staff amazing, and the food incredibly tasty! We cannot recommend Pennard enough and we wish we could do it all again.

From the very start of the process to the very end, we were looked after so well, throughout it all. All the staff are amazing but special shout out to Lucy, Ellie and Denise who just made the day itself and the lead up so stress free. We truly felt like we could enjoy everything along with our guest as they had it all covered in terms of the logistics of everything. Our guests were equally gushing about the venue and the staff on the day and after which really is a testament to them.

I don’t have the words to say how grateful I am for the support Lucy, Ellie, Denise and the whole team at Pennard house gave us on our wedding day. The venue is perfect and the staff can’t do enough to make you feel at home and at ease there, as well as helping you bring all your ideas to life. We’d recommend them to any couples looking for a space for their perfect day.

Thank you so so sooooooo much for helping us create the most perfect day we could ever have imagined. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more and we can’t quite put into words how much it meant to us. We both felt so relaxed and put at ease by yourself and the rest of the staff. Everybody commented on how friendly and accommodating you all were! You really are the best.

Oh my goodness what a weekend….it was literally incredible we are glowing…our hearts are so full. Thankyou so so so much for everything. We felt so looked after, the venue is just so beautiful and all the staff so wonderful. I am so glad we chose Pennard and even though it was raining it just didn’t matter. Thankyou for being so flexible and accommodating. You all went above and beyond…. We can’t stop thinking about all the extraordinary moments. All our love
