- CCatherine15/05/2025Poor PoorAfter arranging a viewing with the property at a time that they had provided (and after a confirmed calendar invite), I arranged to leave work early. Sadly upon arrival and buzzing the intercom at the gate as instructed a lady spoke and advised that the lady wasn't there and hung up. I buzzed again to explain the situation and try and see if the woman would be back as we had a booked appointment and again they just pressed the refuse entry. Leaving me to reverse back onto an extremely busy road at a blind angle and not being able to view the property. The expansive grounds provided a memorable backdrop for our special event. Our guests remarked on how impressed they were with the tranquility and beauty of the surroundings. The service was on pointe, the food was delicious and the entertainment was enjoyed by all. It truly was a lovely escape of an afternoon. We had an exquisite wedding, one of the many factors that contributed was the ambience and quality of the surroundings , and the helpful yet light touch from the lady owner who I did not have the opportunity to meet but wish to thank. The position of the marquee was integral to the ambience , at the same level as the house yet in its own magical sylvan setting which shelters from sun and wind . The trees were a wonderful backdrop and provided depth and layers of perspective to the eye . I am sure you will have many more happy familiesI am the Groom's father . Everything went to plan, after all the guest Covid problems that we had in the days before. Thank you for coordinating everything so well at your end. It will be strange not to be arranging the wedding. It certainly was part of my daily life for several months. Fantastic memories of the day, thank you.What a whirlwind of a 3 days!
