Old Hall Hotel

I couldn't have asked for a more perfect, personal and organised wedding.Right from the start Vicky was amazing. So thorough at every single meeting and documented everything so precisely. Vicky was so friendly yet remained very professional throughout the whole process. Organising a wedding and bringing up a newborn baby could easily have been a stressful ordeal, but having the amazing support from Vicky made it so seamless and stress free. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart.

The staff, service, flexibility and quality we received from the Old Hall was outstanding from start to finish - I would score them 11/10 on all counts if I could. Vicky, the hotel's wedding coordinator, was particularly excellent; she is professional, knowledgeable and flexible and nothing is too much trouble. Our wedding was absolutely perfect from start to finish, the food was amazing and every request we had was met. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Vicky and the Old Hall.

The Old Hall is a beautiful and historic hotel full of character and charm and situated in a fantastic location opposite the gorgeous pavilion gardens. We held our afternoon wedding reception in the lovely Shrewsbury room" with its stunning stained glass windows and our evening reception in the hotels very quirky and romantic underground venue "the Orchestra Pit" Both rooms looked incredible. The staff were excellent and always very attentive and professional and the food was amazing."

We could not recommend Old Hall Hotel enough as a wedding venue - our day was absolutely perfect and that was in no small part down to the excellent staff and facilities Old Hall has to offer. Our wedding coordinator Emma was fantastic - very knowledgeable, responsive and so patient with us despite our ever-changing plans! Our guests absolutely loved the different spaces the hotel has to offer, and its rich history. The food was delicious, and the portions very generous. Thank you Old Hall!

Living so close to The Old Hall Hotel, it was a no brainier not to host our reception there as it is so beautiful. The team took care of everything for us they possibly could, especially Vicky the wedding coordinator, that girl is second to none! Her expertise, organisation & knowledge of weddings made it enjoyable for us to be organising our reception. Thank you to everyone there who made our day run so smooth & perfect!

We had the most amazing wedding day, all the staff were so accommodating and professional, it was a harry potter theme and they did exactly what we wanted with the decorations the wedding co-ordinator even watched the films so she knew a bit more of what was going on. They even let us have an owl in the room for people to greet on arrival. Every guest said how lovely the venue was and how it was such a good day. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Right from the very start Vicky was welcoming, friendly and supportive, offering lots of advice and guidance. We are so pleased with how beautiful the venue had been set up on our special day. All of our guests (even those who always find fault) commented on how beautiful the food and venue was and also how smoothly the day went. We would definitely recommend the Old Hall Hotel to anyone looking for a venue!

The deputy manager Vicky has outstanding knowledge and customer service expertise. The venue is stunning and can be used in a variety of ways to suit the individual needs. The staff were more than helpful, each one knows exactly what is going on and are well trained to carry out their roles. Each room is clean, well maintained and perfectly set up as requested for the day. The food is fantastic; delightfully presented, tastes fantastic and superb value for money.

The Old Hall Hotel in Buxton was the perfect venue for our wedding. It is beautiful, historic and unique. The rooms are all lovely, and ideal for a small family wedding. Victoria (the wedding manager) gave us excellent service and guided us through all the way. It all ran perfectly on the day and the meal was excellent. The hotel is beautifully located opposite the park and Opera House. I would recommend it very highly for a town wedding (and it has great countryside nearby too).
