After viewing a few venues which were quite a distance from home, we decided why not just look at moorlands as it’s on our doorstep and somewhere we visit for food regularly so we knew the food part would be 10/10! We was blown away when we visited the venue, not only by inside but outside too! The grounds are stunning for photos and guests - and also to get married outside if the weather permits! What was included in our wedding package was more than we ever expected and literally didn’t need to look any further for extras if you didn’t want to! I did do some of my own centrepieces however they are all provided by moorlands if you didn’t want to do that. Food options are unbelievable, so much to choose from and same again with evening food and it was 10/10!! The service the entire way through from Molly & Megan was amazing, always on hand when needed and responded quickly to emails. Any questions we had to ask they always had an answer for - nothing ever felt too much with them. The day ran perfectly, they did everything we wanted and more. There wasn’t one single hiccup during the day - NOT ONE! Which was just such an amazing experience as a bride, you see horror stories of the day but nope not at Moorlands. If I could give any bride one bit of advice, that would be - go to Moorlands, visit and make your decision. You will NOT regret it, I promise! The most amazing venue with experienced staff!We had our wedding at the moorlands on the 7th august, the team were absolutely amazing at ensuring everything ran smoothly. We had an outdoor ceremony which the venue were so flexible with as the weather forecast was very up and down. The grounds are gorgeous and it is such a good space, our children spent their whole day playing outside in the fields and enjoyed every second! We were both able to concentrate on enjoying the day with our loved ones without worrying about anything going on behind the scenes because the events team are on it and we are so grateful for the experience we had with them all. Megan and the team are always quick to respond to any queries you have and help relieve the stress of planning as they are so experienced at the running of the day during the wedding. We’ve had so many guests praising how beautiful the venue and the food is and how well the day went! We are so glad that we made the choice to use the Moorlands as our venue and wouldn’t change anything about the day at all! They really knew their stuff and at our meetings answered almost all my questions before I even asked them. The venue is perfect! And despite the dreary weather, made for a perfect day. There’s also so much included that really makes a difference compared to other venues from the post box and Photo Booth to decorations. They were super accommodating with disabled guests, dietry requirements and last minute changes. Everything ran smoothly! Even little details that I’d forgotten to mention (like moving décor between the ceremony and meal) were done without needing to ask. You can tell how experienced the team are! The day started a little slippy, with me being 25 minutes late to the church, but from then on out, it was perfection! We were so fortunate with the weather which enabled us to be able to use the whole area on offer. Megan was a dream, and just got on with everything to make it feel seamless, and even if it wasn't Elliot and myself were not aware of any hiccups. Through the whole process from booking almost 2 years ago, to the day itself, everything was so easy. Communication was brilliant and we knew where we stood throughout the whole process, and you guys helped us with ideas when we had none! The food throughout the day was beautiful, and the evening food was exquisite. The guests commented and continue to do so about how nice the food was. It's the things like that that made such a difference to the day. The little touches...stunning! Thank you again so much for allowing us to have our wedding with you, and we wish you all the best in becoming a bigger and better wedding venue in Yorkshire...you're making great leaps already to make it a one stop shop for all wedding needs. We couldn't have asked for more, from what can only be the best, most wonderful day of our lives.
