The Moorlands

We absolutely loved our Wedding Day at the Moorlands we couldn't have asked for anything better. The venue looked amazing full of our personal touches and the guests loved how the venue was transformed from ceremony to reception. The outside area is stunning for photographs and the pavillion feels intimate yet it is spacious. The dance floor and lighting was fantastic and everyone was full of compliments about the food. Thank you to all the staff and Megan for keeping the day relaxed as we had hoped.

You were all amazing from start to finish! Everyone commented on it. The day just went so smoothly we absolutely loved it! Thank you so much. We had so many comments on the food a few people have never been before so they said they will be visiting again! They said it’s the best wedding food they have ever had and the best wedding they have been to!

Our wedding was an unforgettable day, and we're sad we can't ever re-live it. Megan and her team were brilliant and nothing was ever too much trouble. We had so many compliments on the venue, the food and the staff, it truly was the best day of our lives and it went better than we could have hoped for. A huge thank you to Megan and all the staff for helping make our day so special and run so smoothly.

If we could do one day again over and over, it would be our day at The Moorlands. We had our legal ceremony overseas but wanted a ceremony and the full works here for all our family and friends. The decision was made as soon as we walked into the room to look around, even when it was snowing. As the bride, I’ve had a vision of what the day would look like for a very long time and it played out like it always has in my head. With the help of the fabulous Megan and her team, the whole process was so simple and it was the most perfect day. There wasn’t a single detail I would change. We had an outdoor ceremony in the sun, the most amazing trio of drinks for the reception and the food was outstanding. All courses were served quickly, the food was hot and there was so much of it. We had garden games on the lawn which was incredible and the amount of space meant all guests had something to suit them, whether playing, drinking or simply having a sit down on the most comfortable sofas! There is even an old castle area for photos which is perfect. I simply cannot recommend the venue highly enough.

Well where do we start? The service from The Moorlands was exceptional from start to finish. From planning the day right through to collecting our things after the wedding. The staff are attentive,friendly and hospitable. Megan our wedding co ordinator went up and beyond throughout our day. All our guests complimented the amazing food. I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all your hard work & organisation, including all the staff present on the day! Without yourself, the day would not have been as smooth as you handled everything with grace & professionalism. All family and friends complimented the venue so much, including all the vendors involved. So, this will definitely not be the last Asian wedding you will be hosting haha. Myself and Fahad would like to thank you in person as soon as we are back from holiday!

We would like to thank the moorlands for providing us with the most perfect day! Everything went to plan and the day went smoothly. We had the most amazing day we will never forget! The staff was amazing and fully organised. And the place it’s self is beautiful.

We chose the Moorlands and it was the best choice we could have made for our wedding venue! Megan was an amazing support, she really listened to what we wanted and made our vision come true ensuring that every detail was included and nothing was forgotten. All the staff were polite, friendly and oh my god the food was incredible! Our guests all said how much they enjoyed both the main meal and the evening buffet most saying it was the best food they had tasted at a wedding! We were able to use the gorgeous outside areas for our photos and could honestly not have had a better day from start to finish! We looked at so many venues but The Moorlands by far came out as the best because of the support, friendly service and dedication to making the day what we wanted to be , so relaxed and full of fun and love which it absolutely turned out to be!!! From the friendly events team to the gorgeous venue and delicious food - nothing could be faulted!! We cannot recommend The Moorlands as a wedding venue enough! Stunning settings which made for perfect photos! A laid back but super organised team made for a relaxed, smooth day! All our guests were stunned by the quality of the food (most said its the best wedding food they've had) - just everything was great! There was no problem accommodating all our requests and they had plenty of advice to give! For good value and a unbeatable service, book The Moorlands for your big day!!! Honestly do it - you won't regret it!!

Honestly, the best day! The moorlands was the perfect wedding destination! The beautiful marquee, the clock tower, the water garden just everything was beautiful. The food was 10/10, every single guest (including Italians who have such high standards) complimented the food! They catered for also gluten free and dairy free! Megan our wedding coordinator did a fantastic amazing job! We can't thank the moorlands enough for how they made our day so special!
