Moorhead Country Weddings

We are so pleased we found Moorhead country weddings, the lake was the most tranquil and peaceful place for our ceremony. It was a day we will never forget. The function area was just perfect for our wedding celebrations to continue. Thank you Mandy Tessa and family ☺️

No words can describe how fantastic and amazing Tom & Mandy are. They can’t do enough for you to ensure that your stay is perfect. The apartments are immaculate and are of high standards, the facilities are outstanding. The bar is so warm and welcoming. The restaurant and food are top class. A huge shout out to Tessa in the restaurant who does and incredible job. The outside grounds and lake have breathtaking views and are kept immaculate there is activities for all ages or u can just sit relax

What an amazing hidden treasure this is, location perfect for Fishing on site in a well stocked Lake, beautiful 100° Country views everywhere you look. Well thought out beautifully clean. Heated indoor swimming pool & Hot Tub. Lovely Restaurant with homecooked reasonable price meals. Very friendly bar with outside seating. The best Apperol Spritz ever, Thank you. This family run and it shows, nothing is too much trouble.

Lovely place to stay. So many things available and great family run complex. My children absolutely loved it and we would definitely visit again

I rarely leave good reviews But with this place I was compelled to. firstly its a Great location. Lots to do in the surrounding areas. The apartments are clean and maintained really well. The facilities pool etc are great. The food in the restaurant is really nice and the service is top. I will recommend this place to others.

I have been lucky to visit and cater at a few beautiful weddings at Moorhead and it’s one of my favourite venues. Not only does it have a lot of space to accommodate many people, but it also feels quite intimate. The stunning surroundings make it perfect for a countryside wedding. Your venue is just lovely, the views are beautiful. The grounds worked perfectly for our chilled garden picnic wedding. It was a worry not having a marquee as the weather is always a worry, but great knowing that we could use the indoor function area and bar if we needed to! We would love to do it all again!

Myself and my mum have just returned from a viewing at Moorhead Country Weddings, we were welcomed and shown around by Mandy who made us feel very welcome from the start, luckily the sun was shining and we were shown around the grounds, there was so much space and the views across the country side were stunning, we also walked down to lake which was a beautiful spot, and a wooded area which could be really quirky! We were opting for the use of the function area as a smaller wedding, and straight away I could see exactly how I would want it to look. We were offered a glass of fizz to go through pricing and any questions, which was a lot! and went well over our appointment time! Although we have a couple of other venues to look at we were very impressed with the friendliness and hospitality.

We stayed in Morehead October last year and had a lovely stay. The rooms were very clean and tidy, food was absolutely fantastic, would highly recommend eating in the restaurant best meal of the holiday. Tom, Mandy and the family couldn’t do anymore to make our stay enjoyable.
