Milling Barn

We got married at Milling Barn last summer and had the most incredible day and night. Our wedding co-ordinator, Niamh, was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble for her. The venue is stunning and runs like clockwork as everyone is so professional and knowledgeable about how to ensure the day runs smoothly - overcoming any potential mishaps with a calm, professional manner. We had a wooden sign of our new name, which was dropped by one of our wedding party, and seemed to be beyond repair. When I mentioned this to Niamh, she took it to a carpenter who happened to be on site that day who was able to repair it so well, you would never have known it was damaged. Every member of staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the best day possible. We got married in them middle of August and it was hot! The inside was well equipped to handle 100+ people in the heat and the air con was a welcome break from the weather outside. There was lots of seating outside with parasols to keep the sun off those who wanted that. I can't fully express how perfect the day was and I truly believe that this was largely down to the expertise of the team at Milling Barn. I am a huge worrier and overthinker, but I honestly felt nothing but joy and calm during the whole day thanks to this venue.

We got married in December last year and we were so happy with everything about our day. Milling Barn was the first venue we viewed and as soon as we saw the Oak Barn we knew it was the one. Niamh and her team worked seamlessly with our suppliers and I felt like everything was taken care of and I had nothing to worry about on the day. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. The venue looked stunning, exactly how we had imagined. We would definitely recommend to other couples looking for a cosy winter wedding.

What a venue! We got married in May 2024 after booking the venue 2 years prior. Milling Barn was the first venue we looked at, and instantly fell in love with it. Beautiful location, really convenient having everything you need on site and very accommodating of all our wishes. The food was great and all our guests commented on how amazing everything was.

Lovely venue for a wedding, the venue had multiple spaces for people to mingle ranging from indoor, outdoor and even covered areas outdoors. The food was also incredible, but not sure if this was outsourced. A particular highlight was the mezzanine floor which provides a great view of the dance floor.

Milling Barn was the perfect venue for our wedding, it was everything and more! Aimie our wedding planner was amazing, our day ran perfectly, she was so knowledgeable and calmed down any of nerves or worries on the day!

The Barn is just a dream and food is absolutely delicious, all our friends and family commented on how impressed they were with everything especially the cake!. We couldn’t of chosen a better venue for our special day.

The most beautiful wedding venue! It’s what little girls dream of! We viewed a number of barns but Milling Barn stood out to us for a number of reasons; you get the whole venue to yourselves, all of the available extras, the friendly staff, the scenery and the value for money!
