Middleport Pottery is the ideal wedding venue for couples who are seeking a flexible approach to wedding planning – meaning the only limit is your imagination. The venue hire allows couples exclusive access to all of the beautiful rooms the day before your wedding to decorate and the morning after your wedding to collect your personal items so there's no rushing at the end of the your wedding day. Our venue hire pricing is either low season (November to March) or high season (April to October). The maximum capacity for the largest room is 100 guests but across all 4 rooms we can accommodate 250 guests. The site is like steeping back in time and guests are left in awe when attending a wedding at Middleport Pottery. Our unique heritage site is licenced for civil ceremonies as well as offering you a wedding reception venue that oozes charm. Middleport Pottery is the only venue in the UK that has it's own Bottle kiln that is licensed to hold weddings. The venue hire fee includes exclusive use of the events rooms, outdoor space for photographs, furniture, vintage festoon lighting, on site wedding planner. This fee does not include any food or beverages. Our pricing is based on low season and high seasons. Low (November to March), High season (April to October) Middleport Pottery holds an exclusive number of weddings per year, our focus is on our couples and there guests to offer you the best day of your lives.

With interesting things on all the walls, and history all around it was just the perfect, quirky, and amazing venue for us. All the staff were so lovely, anyone I saw said congratulations and couldn't have been more welcoming. Basically we can't tell you how perfect of a day we had. We also can't thank you enough, but thank you!!! Middleport Pottery as a venue was perfect for us. We knew we wanted a relaxed day. All of the staff were amazing and made our day so special I can’t thank you all enough , I just can’t believe it is done now the day went by so quickly . Within the back drop of the heritage site, each of the spaces available for use has a unique charm. With welcome drinks in the Davenport Gallery, ceremony in the Burgess Room and evening party in the Regal Peacock we certainly made the most of the venue. And not forgetting our grand entrance out of the Bottle Kiln onto the canal side courtyard or the fantastic photographs taken along Port Street. From the initial meeting to the big day itself, Sarah was on hand to answer our questions, give us a nudge about what needed to be arranged and by when but most importantly, to ensure everything on the day ran to plan. We couldn’t have done it without her guidance! Nothing was too much trouble for the Middleport team and for that we can’t thank them enough. We had the BEST day and just wish we could live it all over again!
