Malt House Barn is a new and exciting purpose-built wedding venue, offering you the perfect opportunity to create your dream wedding. Our elegantly converted barn and gardens are set in a tranquil location in the beautiful Shropshire countryside, ensuring those picture-perfect backdrops. We are situated only four miles from Shrewsbury town centre; a charming county town renowned for its historical architecture and warm hospitality. The venue will be exclusively yours to create a truly unique wedding experience. We want you to have the freedom and flexibility to choose everything from your own decor, caterers and even the kind of furniture you have! We have an alcohol licence, which means you are welcome to hire your own bar company, or, bring your own alcohol with no corkage fees. The integrated heating and air conditioning system makes this the perfect all-year round venue. What’s more, not only do we have two beautiful indoor ceremony rooms, we also have the perfect outdoor setting for the exchanging of vows. A standard booking is from 9am Friday until 11am Sunday, so you can relax and take your time to set up and fully enjoy your wedding day. We all know how fast the wedding day goes by… so here at Malt House Barn, we offer a unique opportunity to extend your celebrations by having a “day after party”. This means you will be able to use the venue until 6pm on the Sunday, providing an option for a casual lunch or garden party to catch up with all your guests. Weekend prices include exclusive use of the barn, gardens and wedding suite from 9am Friday to 11am Sunday. Weekend pricing starts from £5,250 (inc. VAT). Wednesday prices include exclusive use of the barn, gardens and wedding suite from 9am Tuesday to 11am Thursday. Weekday pricing starts from £3,250 (inc. VAT). We now have a choice of 3 ceremony rooms, providing you a perfect blank canvas for your special day. All our prices include VAT, as we like to ensure we are open and transparent with our couples. We also do not charge a corkage fee, reflecting on the cost of living and the ability to truly customise your wedding day. Included in the pricing is the complimentary hire of our table and chairs and PA system- you are also welcome to bring in your own decor. Janet is our dedicated wedding co-ordinator, who will help to co-ordinate with your suppliers and will be on-hand on your special day for any assistance. She is known as your light in shining armour!

We could not have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding than Malt House Barn. From the moment we visited, we knew it was the right choice — the space is absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere created the perfect backdrop for our big day. Janet was incredible to work with: professional, attentive, and always willing to help. They made the planning process stress-free and were always quick to respond to questions. Our guests were blown away by the beauty of the venue and how seamless everything felt. The most perfect day! The most perfect day!
We got married at Malt House Barn this April and it was the most perfect venue for us! The venue allowed us to decorate and turn our dream wedding into a reality. The space and freedom that the venue provides meant we could have all our favourite people in one place and the accommodation on site was perfect! It meant I could stay over the night before and have a calm and relaxing morning before the ceremony. The addition of the second barn was perfect for us and meant there was no change over in the rooms, so our guests could easily flow between the two. Suppliers were contacted via the venue which meant we didn’t have any worries about their set up during the day. I couldn’t recommend Malt House Barn enough. Malt house barn is a stunning venue, the backdrop, the lawn and the gorgeous building which is so clean and gorgeous! Everything inside is perfect for you to set up the wedding of your dreams - a blank canvas for you to add your own details to it! From the first viewing we knew it would be perfect for us! And it really was. The day was perfect (helped that it was sunny so we could use the gorgeous outside gazebo)! We would absolutely recommend using malt house barn as your venue! The moment we visited Malt House Barn, we realised immediately this is where we were meant to get married. The venue and grounds are so beautiful and a perfect blank canvas to allow your event to be truly anything you imagine! Janet was such a pleasure and was so helpful from start to finish, answering our many questions and making us feel very welcomed and much less nervous about our big day! I cannot thank Janet enough and we couldn't have imagined a better venue. Janet was a fantastic host. She was always available to provide support and assistance when necessary. Also, all the guests were impressed with our venue choice and all gushed over how pretty it was. The grounds are well kept and make such a pretty background for pictures. The gazebo is lovely too. The hall is big and accomodated our 150 guests easily without feeling cramped at all. We loved the venue and would pick it over again. We absolutely recommend this place to any intending couple! It is a gorgeous venue. Janet was a fantastic host.
