Your wedding day is one of the most special days of your life and that should be matched with a truly special venue such as Ludlow Castle.
Couples can choose from the intimate setting of the Library, The grand Beacon Rooms, or the magical Round Chapel which are all licensed for civil ceremonies or you may wish to arrange a humanist celebrant.
Our various wedding packages include photo opportunities within the Castle Grounds, exclusivity over Castle House Gardens, and our catering partners – Chapter 66 -are on hand to serve wonderful canapes and drinks – or afternoon tea should you prefer.
To continue your celebrations within the Castle Grounds, receptions for up to 60 can be held in the Beacon Rooms, or for larger weddings a marquee can be erected to extend the space and seat up to 300 people.
With 3 apartments within Castle House, plus a town house a short stroll away via Castle walks you can be sure that the entire wedding party can stay close to hand and have a truly memorable time.
A dedicated member of the team would be delighted to arrange a no-obligation viewing of the Castle where you can fully see the potential of this unique venue.

Describe the best wedding that happened at Ludlow Castle?
The wedding of a beautiful young bride who lived in Ludlow Castle when she was a child, her bedroom was the library which is our intimate small wedding space. No she wasn't over 300 years old; in the 80s Castle House was owned by Shropshire Council and housed 8 families before they decided to sell it off.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't lose sight of the reason why you are getting married and remember to enjoy the day
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
The flowers are always something really special and individual. The best thing (which is popular now) was a huge tree in the Beacon Rooms
