Lower Marsh Farm

Set on the Cornish bank of the River Tamar which forms the border with Devon, tucked away on the outskirts of the pretty village of Landulph benefiting from the secluded feel of being a million miles from City life but with the convenience of being striking distance of modern amenities.

You can marry in a number of locations here, inside or out – or at the gorgeous Landulph Church which is at the end of the drive, a (very) short walk or even a horse-drawn carriage ride away.

At the farm, you can choose a pool side ceremony, the woodland setting which is stunning in May with bluebells and wild garlic, a Tipi or marquee set somewhere within the grounds, riverside, courtyards, meadows, gardens, in an atmospheric yurt cabin, or even a Well House 'chapel' - or somewhere we haven't even thought about!

Around 20 guests can stay here in 10 bedrooms - we can offer single level (ground floor) accommodation, to glamping options. During your stay, you can benefit from our amenities which include hot tubs, outdoor swimming pool (during warmer months), tennis court and extensive grounds to explore.

Yes, absolutely. At least 1 team member will be on-site throughout your stay to help ensure things run smoothly and answer any questions.

We have owned Lower Marsh Farm for over a decade and during that time hosted several thousand self-catering holiday guests and over a hundred well-being retreats (for these we offer both the venue and catering). In the past decade we have received almost exclusively excellent feedback and reviews from guests (anything less than a 5* is very unusual!). During this time we have on occasion been asked by guests if they could hold their wedding receptions at the farm - and have done this for several couples over the years. In early 2026 we applied for and have received a license for wedding ceremonies at the farm. This is all very exciting and we have our first few ceremonies being held this summer.

Absolutely! You can stay at Lower Marsh Farm, get married here, and then spend a few relaxing days together as newlyweds, making the most of your beautiful surroundings.

We can als take care of the details, from arranging witnesses to organising your photographer, flowers, cake and more – we can even coordinate the whole celebration for you.

And if you'd like to share your special day with a few close family members or friends, they are very welcome to stay here too.

Yes, absolutely. We simply ask that you discuss your chosen suppliers with us in advance. For some suppliers, such as marquee companies, a small site induction fee may apply, and we'll need to see evidence of appropriate public liability insurance before they work on site.

Yes! We love cosy winter weddings, and the farm is ideal for these - lots of log burners, fairy lights, fire pits and atmosphere. We even grow our own Christmas Trees to decorate the farm over the festive period!

Yes - and this can normally be flexible for either the whole farm or just the wedding couple to get a few extra days R&R.
