The ground floor of the hotel, including the entrance, is completely step-free.

Lindeth Howe Hotel is a beautiful location for wedding photography. It goes without saying that this is one of my favourite places to work in the Lake District. Clare and Liz are the perfect hosts and it always feels like I'm returning home when I arrive to photograph a wedding here. Tanya made the transition of this seem effortless, Nothing was ever too much trouble even though there was a lot of details to be changed. From the moment we arrived the day before, we was made to feel so relaxed, the staff were incredible. You really made our day perfect. Our original wedding date was booked as exclusive use option, this was changed due to covid and we celebrated with 15 of our family. Little did we know that getting married on 16th October 2020 would be the whirlwind it was BUT we can honesty say that the Hotel were fantastic in helping us create a Plan A, Plan B and Plan C in line with the Covid restrictions. I have to say a huge thank you to Tony (Hotel Manager) and Tanya (Wedding Co-ordinator) for creating a day that was magical, you not only took our thoughts and made them real but you just made everything so EASY under the pressures we had. A big big massive thank you to Tanya - the room was beautiful, your communication with timings for the registrar, arrival of my photographer etc was just amazing and you couldn't have made our day anymore spectacular and special than you did .. you are a brilliant in every way . The food was out of this world....and therefore I would like to say a huge thanks to the chef, kitchen and waiting on staff. The added bonus was staying in the most beautiful suite that overlooked the lake and the amazing back drop that surrounds this little 'gem' of a hotel. The interior is quirky yet intimate, no decoration from our side was needed as the venue speaks for itself. The food was outstanding, all our guests commented. The staff are amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. Our pictures are incredible and give us memories to cherish forever.
