Morning Will, We would like to say a HUGE thank you for making our day so special. We had the most amazing day and am sad it’s all over. The day went exactly as we wished, the food was amazing and the venue was wonderful. Thank you for answering all questions when we asked, being prompt and understanding our needs and requirements, and being accommodating when needed. Hi Will, Thank you for getting back to us. We had a very productive weekend which did result in us booking at XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX in Newquay. We felt that although this was a dearer option it ticked all the boxes and offered us the more casual/informal wedding we are looking for. James and I were speaking and both feel it was a shame that we weren’t booking with you as you were head and shoulders above the other planners we met, you made us feel very welcomed and at ease with your friendly, jovial personality. We would just like to say a big thank you to all members of staff involved, both directly & indirectly on the occasion of Sam & Abbi's wedding on Saturday 21st. Everyone worked tirelessly moving tables etc around preparing the room(s) & made sure the day went like clockwork (even in that heat). From arrival in reception to our departure, the service we received was second to none & as we understand from Sam & Abbi, everyone was really helpful, courteous & efficient, right from their initial contact with you. My husband booked our vow renewal as a surprise for our 10th wedding anniversary. I had only 11 weeks to organise the details and Sarah Mitchell and her team were fantastic. Everything was arranged via email as we live over 200 miles away and I couldn't have asked for better service. Sarah arranged a menu to suit our tastes and took delivery of our 4 tier cheese "cake" for us. She also arranged rooms for all our family and friends despite a lot of indecision. When we arrived the day before there was so much help to set up the table decorations. They also set up the chairs with the covers and baby blue sashes for us to see. Sarah asked for instructions on where to put the decorations for us for the day. On the day itself we couldn't have asked for more. Everything was perfect. The Sun Lounge looked beautiful with the sea view obviously helping. All the tables and the room had been carefully decorated and the white carpet had been rolled out ready. Sarah even sat out of sight to play the music during the ceremony. All our guests commented on the high quality of the food and how good it was that it was all hot (which is not always the case when a lot of people need to be served). My husband and I can't praise Sarah and the Hotel Victoria highly enough and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them as nothing was too much trouble.

From start to finish the staff at the legacy Victoria hotel where most helpful and supportive. This reduced the stress significantly of planning our wedding and having Sarah over seeing everything was a god send. From the ceremony to the evening reception everything was perfect right down to the smallest details both my husband and myself would not have changed a thing. The food was amazing and all my guests commented on how nice all of the food was especially the wedding breakfast. Feedback from friends and family said it was by far the best atmosphere and so relaxed through out the day and evening and I believe that is partly because of my personality but mostly down to the experience of the staff. As a venue we were happy with the look and style of the hotel too which gave us lots of photo opportunities both inside and outside. If I had to give the legacy Victoria hotel a rating I would give them 10/10. This really was a happily ever after!!!

Newquay was our first choice for our wedding so we set about finding a venue . After looking at several venues we decided on the Legacy Hotel Victoria and boy are we pleased we did. From start to finish the staff were fantastic Sarah Mitchell guided us through what we thought would be a headache , meals, table arrangements etc as we are 250 miles away from Cornwall ! Guest numbers and menu's were changed several times without any issues from the hotel. we had planned on the service being carried out outside however the normal fine September weather was a little unpredictable so the hotel left it until the last minute but finally decided the service would be better indoors ,a little disappointed until we seen the room... simply beautiful ! The whole day was perfect in every way and cannot thank the hotel Victoria and its fantastic staff for making it a day to remember not only for us but virtually every guest commented how wonderful the day and venue was. A real 10 out of 10 experience.

I want to say a special thank you, to Sarah Mitchell who organised our wedding in May and the helpful and courteous staff that were there on our day. Sarah advised with everything from arranging the DJ at late notice, to sorting out a favourite starter which wasn't on the menu choices and ensuring any dietary requirements were met. Sarah was there on our day and helped make the day go smoothly, even making sure my surprise cake topper was just that "a Surprise". Sarah also managed to take some fantastic photos capturing moments that no one else did. Our day was perfect, the sun came out and we were able to be married outside in the pergola with the backdrop of Towan Bay. We had canapés and drinks in the garden during the afternoon and were shown into the restaurant were we had our wedding breakfast. The food was excellent and considering we are not local and had not even tried any of the dishes, the meal excelled. The service was great, no one waited for anything and everything went smoothly. The hotel is very organised and well practised at weddings, they led us through the whole process, were open to suggestions and great at offering solutions and choices. Nothing was too great an issue for them. Our guests travelled far and wide and they too thought the whole day was fantastic especially with the sea view making the whole event more special. We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Legacy Hotel Victoria on the 13th May 2017. It was amazing, and far greater than we ever imagined it would be. The events team were fantastic throughout the planning process and when our wedding day came nothing was too much effort. They were always in the background making sure everything was going to plan and were there to sort out any issue that may arise. The day itself was faultless. We were a little worried at first in regards to the weather and so had agreed that it would probably be best to set up the ceremony inside, however when the morning of the wedding arrived and the sun was shining, they got team together last minute to set up outside under their pergola. It was as if they wanted our wedding to be as perfect as what we wanted and nothing was too much trouble. Having the wedding outside was like getting married abroad, our photos which came from this were pure bliss and all our guests complimented how beautiful the day was. The reception went smoothly, the food was delicious and so amazingly presented. The detail which went into our day was extraordinary and the price in no way matched up to the amount of effort that the events team provided. I cannot thank the hotel enough, and the memories of our wedding will stay with us forever. . the hotel itself overlooks the sea, and to have our wedding in such a beautiful atmosphere was truly great and i would definitely recommend this venue to any happy couple considering getting married in Cornwall.

My husband and I booked our wedding with hotel Victoria back in June last year, and finally got married April 2017. All I can say, from start to finish the service and support we had was 5*. It was the perfect day, and with the weather on our side we were able to get married looking across the ocean from the back of the hotel. Beautiful. The staff were so helpful from start to finish, I couldn't fault anything. We want to say a massive thank you, not just from us, but my family and friends also for making our wedding weekend magical. This was wonderful hotel for our daughters wedding on 22/4/17 the main wedding party stayed in the top floor suites for 2 nights views are amazing and the rooms where spacious,comfy and clean the wedding party had a wonderful time all getting ready for the wedding in these rooms we booked a pre-wedding night meal for 20 which was served quickly and was nice and tasty breakfast on both days was very nice and also used swimming pool also very pleasant Sarah the wedding organiser was fantastic arranging everything for the wedding everything ran so smoothly on the day the wedding breakfast and evening hog roast was outstanding the whole experience was amazing and would like to thank all the hotel's amazing staff whom made this day so very special
