Every wedding is bespoke and the food choices help reflect that. We allow total freedom from our extensive menu and are also very happy to create something off menu to help personalise your day. The costs are entirely determined by the dishes selected by each couple and we offer a real range of options and prices. Enjoy a tailored menu tasting here in our Restaurant ahead of the day and experience the quality of our food first hand. We often find this is every couple's favourite part of the planning process and we even throw in a wine tasting!

The co-ordination with the suppliers, the staff who were warm, attentive and professional with nothing being too much trouble (we had lots of comments regarding how good the staff were!), and the food made it a wonderful day. The venue is so beautiful and idle waters was an amazing touch for us, we are so happy we included the beautiful cottage. If travelling from London, turn off the M25 at Brentwood onto A12. Continue on A12 towards Ipswich, bypassing Colchester. Take the left exit signposted “Stratford St Mary, Dedham and Higham.” For Talbooth House & Spa, turn right at the bottom of the hill to Dedham, over the bridge and the hotel is approx 300yds along on the right. From Ipswich, leave on the A12, and when you pass the sign to East Bergholt, continue down hill and take the left exit to Stratford St Mary and Dedham. Then, take the next right turn to Stratford St Mary.
