Hylands House boasts lavish interiors, set to stun your guests together with breath-taking views of the Essex countryside. Whilst the Grand Pavilion provides the perfect blank canvas for your reception. The venue is filled with endless photo opportunities both inside the restored mansion house as well as the picturesque Pleasure Gardens.
Host your ceremony for up to 100 guests within the ornate ceremony rooms of Hylands House and up to 300 guests for your seated meal and reception inside the Grand Pavilion. You also have the option to host a religious ceremony for up to 300 guests within the Grand Pavilion.
Hylands Estate offers venue-only hire, providing you with celebration spaces and internal furniture. We have done the hard-work for you and curated a list of accredited caterers for your to choose from. You then have the flexibility to choose your own suppliers, including decorators and entertainment, to create a truly bespoke wedding. You may supply your own alcohol, free of charge and operate from our bar using your chosen supplier.
As specialists in Asian Weddings, we will guide you every step of the way through arranging your special day, whether you are looking to host an Indian ceremony with Mandap, or a smaller more intimate Nikkah ceremony, we can show you how Hylands Estate is the perfect venue for you.
From your initial enquiry a member of the Events and Weddings team will be at your disposal right up until your wedding day. You will meet your dedicated Events Duty Manager ahead of the day, who will be with you every step of the way. Our team will be on hand to welcome your guests, monitor the venue and assist with all the coordination on the day.

The price quoted allows you exclusive access to Hylands House & Grand Pavilion from 10am until midnight, unlimited corkage, tables and chairs to seat your guests, a kitchen for your caterer to use, free onsite parking, car parking stewards, security, and waste facilities. Additionally, Hylands Estate will provide staff to ensure that you are supported during your wedding.

Waking with the forecast being positive I knew from then it was going to be a perfect day. It was amazing to see all the work we put in brought to life with the help of guys at Hylands and our suppliers! The team made the day run smoothly and never felt anxious or stressed about anything due to the high organisation. There was plenty space for our younger guests to run in the amazing fields till their hearts content. The pavilion also provided a lot of room to dance the night away!
