Describe the best wedding that happened at Hotel Tresanton?
The perfect wedding at Hotel Tresanton is an exclusive use wedding. The best one by far was an exclusive use wedding in early October, where the ceremony was held at the local church of St Just.
Guests arrived the night before for a welcome dinner, with all of the couples 70 guests staying at the hotel. On the wedding day itself, guests enjoyed a relaxed breakfast, before getting ready for the ceremony at the local waterside church. Travelling by a classic London bus to the ceremony was a great start to the celebrations and once guests arrived back to the hotel, champagne and canapes were enjoyed on the hotel's sea view terrace, in the winter sunshine with a great jazz band playing in the background.
A three course dinner was served in the restaurant, with a seasonal main course of Cornish beef served. Once the speeches, toast and cake cutting had taken place, guests moved through to the function room for a night of fun and dancing!
To complete the guests weekend away, breakfast the day after the wedding was held for all, to reminisce of the previous days memories made!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
I've had it said to me before, if you find the right venue with the right planner/ coordinator, your day will be perfect.
Having someone on hand to plan all of the details with you and share their wealth of experience with you, will elevate any stress in the run up to the wedding and on the day itself.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Having your guests all choose their favourite song in advance, adds a great fun element when they hear it played later on that evening on the dance floor!
