Since 1990 the former Manor House has been lovingly restored by the Salt family, retaining all of the original character and charm - from the sweeping drive in to the exposed limestone walls and original tiled floors. Set in the foothills of the Peak District on the picturesque 180 acre golf course and surrounded by green fields and wildflower meadows, this beautiful venue will have you and your guests feeling a million miles away from the rest of the world.
From the moment you arrive you will enjoy exclusive use of the Amber Suite and adjoining atrium. As a family run business, we treat every wedding as if it was our own. Your experienced, passionate and dedicated wedding co-ordinator will be on hand, from the planning to your big day, to ensure all aspects of your wedding are as perfect as you’ve dreamed.
With two licensed rooms we are the perfect venue for civil weddings and partnerships of any size. For smaller weddings our Old Restaurant room provides an intimate, romantic space and for larger weddings our Amber Suite can accommodate up to 120 guests for your ceremony.
The Amber Suite is a large and airy reception space perfect for dining and dancing. This Suite offers an opportunity to enjoy the courtyard which leads from the atrium where the reception drinks can be served. Your guests can enjoy canapés as they take in the stunning views of the golf course and countryside beyond, before moving inside for a mouth-watering wedding breakfast.
Celebrate at the end the day dancing the night away with your guests. Our Amber Suite offers the perfect party space with a private bar serving an impressive selection of drinks.
The dedicated wedding co-ordinator will help plan your wedding and make sure that everything goes smoothly.
Horsley Lodge offers a total of 14 en-suite bedrooms within the Lodge House and the three-story limestone cottages in its grounds. The Bride and Groom are offered a complimentary luxury suite for your wedding night.

Hi Im Laura, I am the Wedding Coordinator here at Horsley Lodge. I absolutely adore what I do, the team here do say I am married to my job, and to be honest, it's probably true. From meeting our couples, planning their day with them, seeing them have the most fabulous day with us, to seeing them leave as Mr & Mrs the morning after. It is just so magical and a huge honour to be able to be part of their day.

Me and my partner got married here 2 weeks ago and the place and staff were excellent Laura was brilliant with us from the day we booked our wedding, nothing was ever too much trouble and she helped us with anything we wanted and needed. The service and food there are amazing. Our meal and night time buffet was really good and all those who attended said what a wonderful venue it was to get married and how nice the setting was. I highly recommend you visit Horsley lodge even if it's just for a drink and some food in the restaurant it wont disappoint you! Many thanks to the team there.Horsley lodge is an excellent venue! From arrival to checking out the staff couldn't have done more and all of our guests said the food was incredible. Want a special mention to Laura who first met met us when we were looking at the venue and helped us throughout with last minute changes on the day so thank you so much, also Tom it was the first time we saw him but again what an assest he is, always smiling and nothing too much trouble.Me and my now wife got married here yesterday and I just want to thank you all for the most perfect day. From arrival to checking out the staff couldn't have done more and all of our guests said the food was incredible. The venue itself was beautiful and everyone commented on this, particularly if they had not visited before. We had only looked at one venue previously but we knew instantly that this was the place for us as soon as we visited! Our day was perfect from start to finish. I was very emotional before the ceremony even began and Laura did a fab job with keeping us all calm and ensuring that we all knew what to do when we arrived. She had also been fab throughout the whole process leading up to the day and assisting with everything on the day too. We met Tom for the first time too who was lovely and ensured everything went as planned. So thank you to both of you! Our whole day could not have been better. The decor is lovely, the layout of the building is user friendly. The food is amazing, I was taken back by the bar prices really well priced on all drinks We stopped over night the rooms are top draw but the outstanding thing was the staff they are so professional nothing is to much trouble If I was getting married this is the venue I would definitely pickAttended a wedding at Horsley absolutely brilliant, plenty of parking , excellent access to the building. Tom, Laura and all of the staff involved have been amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Couldn’t of had a better venue. Our initial wedding entertainment fell ill and had to cancel last minute, Tom selflessly arranged for another group to attend and delivered the best customer service that I’ve ever witnessed. From start to finish we have had the best time and it’s given us so many amazing memories. Thank you so much for everything. From numerous wedding open days we attended to our consultations with Laura all details were taken care of in a friendly and professional manner. On the day Laura and Emma were brilliant and the day went perfectly, they and the rest of the staff were at hand if ever needed but were also very unobtrusive at the same time. The venue is very picturesque, and was lovely for photographs. We arrived on the Thursday evening (night before the wedding), and had dinner in the restaurant, which was top quality. The service was fantastic, and we had such a nice relaxing night. The day itself ran so smoothly, with Laura and Tom on hand, who catered for all of our requests and were just brilliant. All of the family and friends attended commented on how warm and welcoming they both were, and again made the day so special with their personal touches. Special thank you to Laura for being so accommodating in our changes. It wasn't easy planning a wedding through COVID, with the uncertainty etc, but she took so much weight off our shoulders, and was very flexible with us. So thank you to you all once again for making our day one to remember. The new Mr and Mrs ForsdikeWe couldn't recommend Horsley Lodge enough as a venue for weddings.
