Holsome Park is a family run wedding venue set in the breath-taking Devon countryside, on 300-acre working farm. Situated in the beautiful Avon Valley region, this beautiful venue is the perfect romantic setting in which to begin your new life together. The barn at Holsome Park blends contemporary and rustic elements to create an atmosphere that’s completely unique and impossible to forget. This is an ideal venue for couples who aren’t afraid to chart their own course. Here, you and your loved ones will discover that, with the right canvas, no beautiful wedding vision is beyond expression. The Holsome Park team can’t wait to meet you and discuss how they can help turn your wedding dreams into reality.
Facilities and Capacity
The barn at Holsome Park can accommodate up to 160 seated guests. The barn’s open layout provides the flexibility you need to transform the space into a wedding wonderland that reflects your unique personality and style. The campsite can accommodate up to 100 overnight guests. The venue has shower and toilet facilities for your comfort and convenience, and there is ample on-site parking available. Holsome Hideaway is our charming shepherd's hut reserved just for our wonderful couples to use.
Services Offered
Holsome Park invites you to escape the ordinary and experience a celebration that you and your guests will never forget. Your wedding package includes exclusive use of the site for three days; camping and no-camping options are available. Special guided farm walks are available for overnight campers. The site is provided with electricity, and a campfire is available for use. There is no corkage fee if you choose to bring your own drinks. A licensed evening bar is available on request. Members of staff will be on hand to ensure that the toilets and other facilities are kept clean throughout the festivities. The venue’s team can also liaise with your suppliers and help ensure that everything is in place and ready for your celebration. If you wish your guests can fed the lambs or you could have wedding photos with our cattle. They provide you with a list of hand-picked local suppliers who go out of their way to source their produce from local and sustainable sources. They include caterers, hog roasts, live bands, discos, florists, crockery hire, and ice cream. The Holsome Park team can’t wait to meet you and welcome you to their beautiful Devon venue.

We used the beautiful quarry in the bottom field with a stunning view over Dartmoor, our guests were really impressed. The barn is a brilliant space and the tables and chairs which are included are great as well as the bar and fairy lights. It looked really magical in the evening and it was simple decorating the space to how we wanted it. Our guests had lots of space to spread out without. The bathrooms were lovely and clean, lots of refridgeration. Camping guests had a good time and we really enjoyed staying in the shepherds hut.Absolutely brilliant venue, and great value for money. The venue is beautiful and offers so much. We were able to have our ceremony in the gorgeous foxglove quarry which provided the perfect backdrop. We then partied the rest of the day and night away in the barn and surrounding wooded area.The views across Dartmoor are unrivalled, especially during golden hour and I cannot wait to see all our photos from the day. The bridal shepherds hut is also amazing. The venue is perfect if you want to DIY and really put your stamp on things. We were able to go in the day before and decorate ready for the big day. We hired bell tents and went for the camping option. It was so great to have family and friends staying on site for the weekend. Louise and Graham - who own the venue - were great and so helpful leading up and on the day of the wedding. Louise was great with communication leading up to the wedding and we were able to visit the venue on multiple occasions during the planning stage. We would recommend this venue over and over. The venue itself was spotless and well maintained and it was obvious that Louise and her family cared about what they do and want it to be the perfect setting. Louise was on hand for anything we needed on the day before and the day of the wedding and everything went smoothly. - EEm & Rob10/06/2025They rock each others world 🖤 🤘They rock each others world 🖤 🤘We could not of had a more perfect wedding venue then here at Holsome Park!! from our beautiful lantern lit aisle threw the woodlands were we held our ceremony, the amazing fields for our rodeo bull, football darts, camping and dancing to live acoustic, firedancer in the woods and the most amazing wedding party in the beautiful huge barn with our live band. It was a wedding of our dreams , the most beautiful place that really captured us!!! Best day of our lives at the best venue. Stunning absolutely stunning!From the first moment we made the enquiry to the actual event at Holsome Park Louise and Graham were just outstanding with their guidance, service and suggestions. Their barn is nothing more than a showcase building with the most beautiful 360o views you will ever come across ! Such an outstanding spot to watch the sunset. Louise has so many ideas, suggestions and contacts and nothing was too much trouble. The barn is very spacious with plenty of room for guests to sit down, eat, socialise and dance the night away. Louise very kindly arranged the bar, food, cake, music and the live band later on in the evening. Outside of the barn, there stands a flat camping field with stunning views, ( I may just have to keep mentioning the views again!) there are plenty of toilet/shower facilities for everyone which are spotlessly clean and well maintained. We particularly enjoyed a drink at the end of the evening sat around the firepit with our friends reflecting on a superb evening. Then it was just a short hop to the camping field to sleep for the night under the stars, our guests bought their own tents which they pitched earlier in the day but I do know that they can supply the comfortable bell tents should you wish. My husband and I were very fortunate to spend the night in their shepherd's hut. Hidden away behind the barn, lies a small but just perfect little hideaway. Kitted out to the highest standard with a full size bed where you can watch the sunset. ( amazing views...sorry did I mention that !) The hideaway was so cosy and clean and had everything that you could possibly need or want. The following morning we treated ourselves to a great breakfast on the decking before a soak in their hottub! What a sheer delight. Thank you Louise, Graham and family for allowing our party to take place. You really have a very special place indeed and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
