Impossible to choose......like every day, every wedding is unique, and every season brings it own piece of magic to our beautiful riverside Castle gardens, whether it be a crisp winter day or one full of sunshine, warming the colourful blooms, it is the perfect place to capture those incredible wedding photos.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
We have many Wedding Tips for our couples, some to #OptimiseYourBudget that can be found on our website https://www.hertfordcastle.co.uk/wedding-receptions/ However, we would always say 'Never lose sight of the fact that this is 'Your' wedding day!' Don't feel pressured into following traditions, in fact make your own! Our Wedding Co-Ordinators are here to assist you, so please ask questions and don't be afraid to make additions and amendments as your plan progress, we want you to look back in 10 years time and recognise the day as your very own.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We love the Audio Guest Book! A full sized old fashioned telephone box where your guests can pop in, make a call and leave you a message and their best wishes!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
The original stone and flint 11th Century wall still surrounds the Castle gardens and provides a beautifully dramatic backdrop for your wedding photographs.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Not recently, however we like to treat all our guests like VIP's!
What’s your favourite canapé?
It depends on the season, however in the colder months indulgent comfort food of mini grilled cheese toasties and tomato soup shooters are a perfect appetite pleaser.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
A chip, or even a bacon or sausage sandwich is always a late night hit!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Has to be our Spiral Staircase - always a favourite with our couples and makes a unique shot! Check out our photo gallery.
