Grand Junction is located on the site of St Mary Magdalene’s Church, Paddington, which has recently undergone a £6m renovation. The venue provides a WOW-factor space with guests jaws dropping when they step into this impressive space. It is a versatile venue, over two levels with dedicated event spaces that can be transformed for your special day!
The Nave, the central hall, dating back more than 200 years is a beautiful 19th century masterpiece! The space can host up to 270 for a seated dinner and 400 standing.
The Undercroft is an unique underground space - perfect for arrival drinks and canapes. This space can host up to 200 people standing and is an incredibly unique setting full of character and charm.
The Garden, based on the canal side of Little Venice our beautiful lawns and terrace area make for a fantastic reception space where guests can enjoy their arrival drinks and canapes in the sunshine before moving into the Nave to enjoy a delicious meal, drinks and dancing.
Fun fact: the site for one of Hugh Jackman’s scenes in the famous 2012 film adaptation of Les Miserables!!

We spent the afternoon with our amazing planner trying some of the options on the menu to make our decision for the food and drinks, and getting thoughts on the running order, as well as working on the logistics for the day as we had an events company providing lights in two parts of Grand Junction, DJ, cake and flower deliveries, photographer too. There were so many options and customisations that were available for the venue too which was helpful given some of the dietary requests of our guests, and Bovingdons were able to accomodate our selections for the alcohol too. The day of the wedding went smoothly as we didn't really have to think about anything as the team on site took care of everything. The tables were set up beautifully, there was plenty of food and everyone was being served promptly which meant super happy guests; as well as us too! Thank you so much to Bovingdons and the team at Grand Junction - it was a magical evening. Bovingdons catering team were the best!
