- MMr & Mrs Nokes25/01/2024The most fabulous few days.The most fabulous few days.When we arrived at the Lake House, we were so warmly welcomed, and that lovely, relaxed service continued throughout our stay. We knew immediately we'd made the right decision. Our wedding ceremony was relaxed, and exactly as planned. Staff were on hand to ensure all ran smoothly, but they were non-intrusive, which was perfect. The food was incredible too. We were so sad to leave, as we'd all had the most fabulous few days at The Gilpin, and truly we cannot wait to return.When we arrived at the Lake House, we were so warmly welcomed, and that lovely, relaxed service continued throughout our stay. We would also like to extend our warmest thanks to all the staff we encountered who were all an absolute delight to share our family experience. This place will not disappoint, simply amazing.Just stunning. Since booking, the Lake House Manager has gone above and beyond to ensure our entire stay and wedding was perfect. I have never met a team more dedicated, kind and happy. The wedding breakfast was superb and the Michelin star restaurant was phenomenal. We feel truly spoilt to have been able to have the experience we have had.
