Behind the scenes, the venue’s kitchen team use fresh locally sourced ingredients in all of their menu’s to maintain the highest standards, embedded with a true passion to create fantastic dishes. We can provide catering for everything from a traditional English afternoon cream tea to a classic silver service wedding breakfast to a more casual hog roast banquet…The choice is yours. Choosing a marquee wedding puts you in charge of everything from the timings of the day to the choice of food and drink, and how you want to entertain your guests. And of course, every couple getting married at The Garden at Eden is assured of exclusive use of the venue and grounds throughout their wedding day. The permanent marquee is heated which makes it ideal for weddings throughout the year. Smaller celebrations for up to 35 guests can also be held in the 1Up restaurant at Eden and has ample parking for coaches and cars. Both The Garden at Eden and The 1Up Restaurant are licensed for civil ceremonies, and there is also the option of marrying outdoors in the gardens. And why not? The Garden at Eden is just a stone’s throw from its namesake the River Eden, and include a large pond with a floodlit fountain and a lawn area which is perfect for drinks receptions.

Stunning venue Stunning venue
We had our wedding reception here and it was amazing! The food and service was fantastic and the staff were friendly nothing was too much hassle. Our original venue let us down 3 months before our wedding but Carol and the team pulled out all the stops and it was better then I could have ever imagined. After all the stress Carol made us feel relaxed and was so accommodating even at such short notice! Everyone was really impressed and commented on what a stunning venue it wasWe had our wedding reception here and it was amazing! The food and service was fantastic and the staff were friendly nothing was too much hassle. Highly recommended for any function. Food was delicious plenty of seconds from just about everyone. Staff couldn't of done enough. Carol the events manager was amazing nothing was an issue. We had my 30th here I'm not the best at making decisions with the table centre peices but Carol and the team made sure it was perfect with personal touches Taylor made into parts of my job and life. Thank once again.Highly recommended for any function. Food was delicious plenty of seconds from just about everyone. Staff couldn't of done enough. Carol the events manager was amazing nothing was an issue. I can't put into words how AMAZING Charlotte has been through our wedding journey. From the planning, to the wedding day itself, she was always there to help. I can not recommend the garden at Eden enough, we had our wedding here on Saturday and it was just perfect, carol and the staff were amazing from start to finish nothing was to much trouble and had so many compliments from our guests for the organisation, the food was AMAZE!! and again all our guest commented on this!! A hidden gem in the Cumbrian countryside that definitely doesn’t get enough promotion, none of our guests had even heard of the place before!! They certainly have now thank you!I can not recommend the garden at Eden enough, we had our wedding here on Saturday and it was just perfect, carol and the staff were amazing from start to finish nothing was to much trouble and had so many compliments from our guests for the organisation, the food was AMAZE!! and again all our guest commented on this!! We had our wedding breakfast and reception here in June and w can't rate the whole experience high enough. Carol was fantastic and ensured the day went smoothly. All our guests commented on what a stunning venue it is and the evening buffet was amazing! We had our wedding reception here in July 2019 and we can't thank Carol and all the staff enough! From the first contact to the day itself was such a pleasure! What we really loved was that everyone at The Garden at Eden helped make it personal and just how we envisaged, rather than many places that look at weddings as a business deal and money! They all really went above and beyond, and top everything off, the food was amazing! If we could do it all again we'd do it here without a doubtWe had our wedding reception here in July 2019 and we can't thank Carol and all the staff enough! We first visited The Garden at Eden in March 2017. The moment we stepped out of the car we knew that was the venue for us: we loved the setting and how light it was inside the marquee. I liked how you could put your own mark on the place with your decorations and Carol was on hand to help make it the wedding you wanted it to be. On the day itself, we got bright sunshine (which obviously you can't plan for!) which meant that guests were able to be inside and outside the marquee which made the dayWe first visited The Garden at Eden in March 2017. We held our wedding reception at The Garden at Eden on Saturday and it was amazing. The venue was perfect, the staff were helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was excellent, all meals were delicious and hot!
