Our Venue offers not one but three gorgeous rustic wedding barns! Two courtyards, Garden oval and The Lakeside (Outdoor wedding option).
You get exclusive three day hire and there is additional on-site accommodation for up to 30 guests consisting of 16th Century Farm House & glamping options including Hobbit Huts, A Shepherds Hut & even a Double Decker Bus that sleeps 6! Our prices range depending on the day and season you wish to get married, ask our wedding team for more details!
At Stanford Farm we are so much more than a blank canvas barn, we include event coordination pre event and event management on the day, free welcome drink, kitchen space for your caterers, licenced bar with staff, 2 fire pits with wood, two toilet block with showers, free camping for your guests, free recycled prop stop and much more. You are more than welcome to bring your preferred suppliers but we'll be happy to recommend our favourite ones if you need some guidance.

Everything ran perfectly and Keith was on hand throughout the day - we really appreciated having him there! Nothing was too much trouble and he just helped to keep us calm. It really is such a unique and special place! Our guest couldn’t stop going on about how beautiful a venue it was! We cannot thank the team at Stanford enough for helping us have the most magical day! From the moment we looked around Stanford farm we knew it just had to be our wedding venue! Unlike other venues, Stanford gave us the freedom to shape the day in a way that truly reflected us as a couple, which was really important to us. What we liked most about the venue was the flexibility and the atmosphere. Every space had something special to offer, from the ceremony areas to the barns and the outdoor settings. We chose to get married in the Stables and honestly it was the best decision. So many of our guests commented on how cute and beautiful the setting was, which made it feel even more special for us. With the three-day hire there was no rushing about; everything could be done at our own pace. Having my bridal party around the night before for a barbecue was such a lovely way to start the celebrations and really set the tone for the wedding. The Prop Shop is also a fantastic idea. Weddings can be so expensive, and having access to items donated in the past or provided by Stanford gave us so many unique touches without the extra cost. It really added character and charm to our day. Keith was absolutely amazing. He was so calm, friendly, helpful, and reassuring from start to finish. He made the whole process stress-free, guiding us whenever we needed advice but also giving us the space to create our own vision. We’d been looking for a venue that wasn’t too traditional or formal somewhere with a bit of quirk and personality that gave us the freedom to do things our way. Stanford Farm stood out immediately. It had this relaxed, welcoming feel that put us at ease straight away, and the more we explored, the more we could imagine the whole weekend unfolding there. We hired the venue from Friday to Monday, and I honestly can’t recommend the weekend hire enough. Having that extra time meant we never felt rushed. We had space to properly settle in, spend time with our guests, and enjoy every moment without it feeling like it was all over in a flash. Friday felt like the start of a mini festival. Our friends and family arrived throughout the day to set up their tents and help us decorate the barn. There was music playing, dogs exploring the fields, everyone pitching in, and just this lovely sense of excitement building. It turned what’s usually a stressful setup day into one of my favourite memories from the whole weekend. Saturday, the wedding day itself, was exactly what we’d dreamed of — joyful, a bit theatrical, and totally us. I’ve always loved Sister Act, so we leaned into that for the ceremony. The bridesmaids were dressed as nuns, and we had a full gospel choir singing us down the aisle. It was honestly one of the most magical, hilarious, and emotional moments of my life. There was so much energy and joy in the room, and our guests absolutely loved it. After the ceremony, we moved into the barn for speeches before dinner. It felt intimate, personal, and full of laughter. The barn looked gorgeous, and the layout gave us loads of flexibility to make it feel like us. We had fantastic live music in the evening from The Cover Ducks, who absolutely brought the party. The dancefloor was packed, and people were still talking the next day about how good they were. Sunday gave us time to wind down and soak everything in. We started the day slowly with tea, bacon butties, and stories from the night before, then held a line dancing class in the barn led by Honkey Tonk Highway. It was a brilliant way to get everyone moving again — silly, joyful, and inclusive. People showed up in cowboy hats and had the best time. It turned out to be one of the real highlights of the weekend. One of the things I appreciated most was how flexible the venue was. We were able to bring in our own caterers, decorate how we liked, and set our own schedule. It never felt like a ‘wedding package’ or production line. Instead, it felt like the team genuinely wanted us to have a brilliant time and supported us in creating a weekend that was truly ours. They were friendly, responsive, and gave us space to enjoy the venue as if it were our own. Our guests absolutely loved it. So many people commented on how unique and fun the venue was. The staff are incredible and will help with anything you need or any question you think of. Keith was our main guide on the day, walking us through everything without us needing to worry - if there were any problems at all, we didn't know about them! His son Josh also makes an excellent espresso martini. The whole team were brilliant and made sure everything went to plan, taking extra photos and generally looking after everyone. There is plenty of parking and accommodation and the Eco Prop Stop was a lifesaver, there's so much useful stuff in there! We ended up having a crisp wall instead of other canapés, just because the frame was already there, and guests seemed to love it! We booked the farmhouse and converted double decker bus, Dame Shirley Bussey, so bridal party could all wake up in the right place and ready to go. This was perfect for making us all relaxed the night before, especially being able to use the hot tub and big kitchen in the farmhouse. Our photographer also loved the venue, having never been before, and was made very welcome. Communication with the team in the lead-up was great, they always got back to our emails quickly even when the date was still a way off in the future. - LLee and Stef03/05/2025Stanford Farm 🤍Stanford Farm 🤍Where do we begin… From the first time we saw Stanford Farm we knew it was the place that we wanted to get married. Keith showed us the sights on a golf buggy, driving us over to Dame Shirley Bussey 🚍 and, looking at the venue, it stole our hearts. The added bonus of doing it OUR WAY!! We knew that we didn’t want a formal, sit down, choreographed wedding and Stanford Farm didn’t need us to conform to the typical wedding plans of hiring the venues caterers or use the venue dressers. Their ability to say yes to everything we asked for really helped to make our wedding ours. We arrived on Tuesday and Keith was there helping us to settle in. Nothing was too much trouble for him. After he left for the evening we were unable to turn some of lights on on some of outside huts and Keith was back within 10 minutes to help us! On the day he was a god send in helping myself and Lee keep on top of our timings, and our nerves!! I cannot thank him enough for making our wedding run smoothly and even sorting out Lee’s buttonhole and de-stressing him with a pint in the Bull Bar 🍺 Bekei was there on the day with her phone capturing all of our special moments 📸 As we went to rearrange the Cow Shed following our wedding breakfast she was already on it, asking what we needed and sending us away to enjoy our day. If I ever went over in a flap she was calming me down and then sorting out whatever was making me run around flapping! Our wedding was the most magical day and it wouldn’t have been possible without the people at Stanford Farm and the relaxed vibes there. The team are beyond helpful, doing so many little things behind the scenes on your day just to make it all seamless! Just perfect in every way! Kieth was our star of the day. Our on the day coordinator, made us feel relaxed, kept us smiling and made everything run so smoothly-his attention to the little details is insane! So much love and appreciation for his presence on our day. The team at Stanford made sure everything was perfect for us during our special celebrations. From the moment we made contact we knew it was right for us. We are not from the area, so having the farm available throughout the whole weekend was perfect for us and our guests. We used all the accommodation on site which was so much fun on its own. The prop store made it so much easier for us as there were so many items we were able to utilise We got married in the stables, a beautiful building which was perfect after Ophelia Jones Events had worked her magic. All of the team were so patient with me with changing plans, especially Gill. But on our big day Keith and Becci managed to pull out all stops, producing umbrellas at the right time and suddenly producing a beautifully decorated cheese cake without warning. Our day was absolutely perfect thanks to the whole team and the beautifully converted farm and other buildings. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
That's so hard! Lots of best bits... Kiki & Sharons first couples dance, great chorography. Dayna's beautiful veil , Sadie & Beths Tug o war, Sarah & Matts Sisters Speech, Carmen & Nialls Dads speech, Chloe & Ashleys woodland wedding....oh the list goes on! I love every single one.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't worry about the little things. Yes get creative and making it personal to you, but when you spend a week planning a background playlist - people may only pick up on one song!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Ohhh i think its the favours....they are so personalised to suit the couple. Dan & Sam gave everyone a badge not only with the their name but relationship to the couple which was lovely as a conversation starter

By the lake over the fields
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
One of our couples was being filmed for a year Tourette's teacher, so we had the film crew here all the wedding. Natalie's Tourette's was unuusally quiet most of the ceremony :-)
What’s your favourite canapé?
All of them! Prawns, Salmon, Beef...oh I'm hungry!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Some wedding cake to keep us going for the final hour
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Three barns in a very relaxed setting, it is 'a very happy place' you just feel surrounded by love and happiness when you arrive
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Growing it from nothing. We are always doing jobs here and building something new. I see a vision and I'm like, we need this! Many couples say who book in advance how much the venue changes getting better and better.
