Featuring many idyllic spaces, couples will be spoilt for choice on where to host their celebrations and to bring their unique vision to life.
Dating back to the eighteenth century, The Top Barn is the oldest and most architecturally stunning of the buildings and features vaulted ceilings, exposed oak beams and original red brick walls. Enjoy your wedding breakfast and evening entertainment surrounded by your loved ones and take in the charm and character of the barn's original features. As if that wasn’t enough, moving upstairs to The Hayloft you will discover the viewing gallery over The Top Barn that doubles as an intimate ceremony area and later a serene space for your guests to relax. For an outdoor celebration, The Lakeside offers a gorgeous waterside gazebo where you can exchange your vows framed by breath-taking views of the rolling hills. Adjacent to the lake is The Paddock, a lush open space to site an elegant marquee, tipi or bell tents and where guests both young and old can play garden games.

- AAimée and Ieuan26/11/2025Absolutely StunningAbsolutely StunningWe got married at Moat Hall Barns on 6th September 2025 and the venue was, as always, absolutely stunning! Amy was incredible from start to finish, communicating changes throughout the venue as they happened (we booked in 2023 and over the two years the venue had changed and developed a lot, including the building of the gorgeous bridal suite!) We were lucky enough to be the first to stay in the accommodation on site including the bridal suite, which I know took a lot of work from Amy and Ben to get it ready in time so we were unbelievably grateful. The accommodation is absolutely incredible. Each of the three bedrooms had their own bathroom, and there was plenty of space in the kitchen/ living areas for all 7 of us getting ready the next day - as there is a beautiful dressing room area too that was perfect for our makeup artist to set up in for the morning! Being on site for the morning of the wedding as a bride was an absolute dream, and I know my florist and various other vendors really appreciated me already being there as it just made the whole day me so much more seamless. I would 100% recommend booking the accommodation at the venue if you have the opportunity to do so! Lastly, Amy, Ben and Mimi were so generous with their time and energy on the day, making sure all the vendors knew what they were doing and ensuring all the music was played at the right time etc. the coordination was so worth us getting to relax and not worry about timings or sorting anything out. Mimi even fluffed my dress before I walked down the aisle and made cocktails when the bar was overran, she really couldn’t do enough for us, so thank you. From both of us, we are so thankful to everyone at Moat Hall Barns for making our wedding day perfect, we wouldn’t change a thing! Absolutely recommend the venue to everyone and will continue to do so. Thank you! Amy and Ben were so welcoming, and took time to really understand what we wanted and needed from our day. We had our ceremony in the Covered Yard which was just perfect for us and moved into the Top Barn for the reception. As a wheelchair user it was important for my husband to be able to move around the venue safely and this worked really well for us. All of our providers (catering, bar, venue styling, photographer, band etc) were also very impressed with Moat Hall Barns and with Amy and Ben. As far as we could tell, everything was seamless which was exactly what this bride and groom needed! The help in planning, setting up and clearing down the next day from Amy and Ben was phenomenal and we just wish we could get married again here every year!!We had our wedding here just before Christmas and we were so delighted we chose Moat Hall Barns. Amy and Ben were so welcoming, and took time to really understand what we wanted and needed from our day. We had our ceremony in the Covered Yard which was just perfect for us and moved into the Top Barn for the reception. This really is the venue for those that want to put a personal touch on their day. The Barn and outside spaces are absolutely perfect for all sizes and styles of wedding and have been finished really well. Amy and Ben are lovely hosts, Ben was so friendly and helpful on the day absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much for making our day so amazing, it really was the best day of our lives. I could not think of a more perfect venue than Moat Hall for our day. We had a brilliant experience with Amy and Ben right from the beginning. We are 100% happy that we chose them for our special day. The venue is just stunning and finished to such a high standard. Our guests and I couldn’t have wished for a better day at Moat Hall. We chose to have our ceremony in the beautiful hayloft of the barn. The outside grounds offered amazing space, the children had a lovely day and enjoyed playing outside, as did the adults as we were blessed with a sunny day and enjoyed the outdoor music that we had. We had 80+ guests for our wedding breakfast and this was nicely accommodated in the barn with tables and chairs in a horseshoe format. We had a pizza van outside in the evening and again this just worked so well with the set up and the outside space. Although it is a dry hire venue, the venue is suited to any style that you wish to have for your wedding and the freedom to choose your own suppliers added to the positive experience. We wanted a more laid back festival type wedding but it’s such a beautiful place it would be equally suited to more formal wedding styles if you wished.We would highly recommend Moat Hall barns to any couple for their wedding. Canapés have got to be one of the best things about a wedding! They're always all delicious, it's impossible to choose.

Personally I think that midnight is the perfect time to overindulge on cheese and biscuits!
