New House Farm, The Lake District

Hazel, Gina and the team made it such an incredible experience from start to finish! We had the most amazing and unforgettable wedding day/weekend at New House Farm. Everyone was blown away by the venue and commented on how exquisite every detail of the place was.

From the time we viewed the venue till the day of wedding, Hazel has been absolutely wonderful. Having our wedding at New House was truly magical. The setting was perfect and the staff were brilliant. A special thanks to Gina for making sure that the day went smoothly. We couldn't recommend New House Farm enough.

This is just a quick email to say a HUGE thank you for all of your help and kindness (and also to the rest of your team) and for letting us use your most beautiful venue for our special day on Saturday, we are so grateful! We really couldn't have asked for a calmer, more understanding person to make it the most perfect day!

We had booked four different venues to look at when we started looking for our wedding venue, with New House Farm being our first appointment. As soon as we arrived, we knew immediately that this was 'the one'. Upon meeting the wonderful Hazel, who sealed the deal for us, we booked our wedding date that very same day and cancelled our other viewings. Our wedding day has since been and gone but the memories and magic of our New House Farm wedding will stay sweet in our minds forever!!

My husband and I knew the second we pulled up in the car to tour New House Farm that it was where we wanted to get married. It was the first and only venue we viewed and after completing the tour and meeting with the lovely Hazel we were adamant and we booked and set our date that same day. From start to finish Hazel was absolutely flawless in ensuring we had all the information we needed, replying promptly to any questions, and making sure everyone and everything was where it needed to be on our big day. With a 6 year old daughter with additional needs and an 8 week old baby we had our hands full but Hazel was more than happy to assist in guiding my eldest with me down the aisle and also allowing me to express and pump in the main house throughout our wedding evening to ensure my maximum comfort. We stayed the evening before our wedding and enjoyed a lovely comfy bed in the Low Fell Room with complementary locally made hand soap in the bathroom and a delicious hot cooked breakfast in the morning complete with tea and coffee as well as fresh orange juice! We would recommend New House Farm to anyone and our only complaint is that our wedding day is over and we can't do it there all over again!

Got married July the 4th, 2024 at New House Farm and it was an absolutely PERFECT experience from start to end. My partner and I live abroad in Chicago so knew planning a Lake District wedding remotely might be a challenge but Hazel and the New House team made it so incredibly easy. We had calls with a few other venues who very inflexible and immediately felt a sense of relief when we FaceTimed with Hazel- she made it clear from the beginning it was our day and her and her team were there to support whatever type of wedding we wanted. The recommended vendor list was very comprehensive and made planning so much less stressful. We simply had the best wedding we could have asked for and were told by multiple friends and family that it was the best wedding they had attended, in large part to the stunning venue and welcoming staff. New House Farm is a very special place and from booking through to the actual day, Hazel and the team were flawless. Our guests couldn’t believe how stunning it was and we couldn’t fault a thing. Outstanding!

We highly recommend New House Farm to anyone looking for a wedding venue. The whole setting is beautiful and Hazel (the owner) and her team can’t do enough for you to ensure your day runs as smoothly as possible. The help and support we received, not only on the day, but also in the lead up to the wedding was brilliant. Hazel and her team were so helpful and reassuring throughout the planning and were so adaptable to make sure we could run the wedding we wanted in the way we wanted it! Hazel was a wonderful host and went above and beyond on the morning of the big day to make sure myself and the bridal crew were all fed and caffeinated, and the rest of the team looking after us ran everything so wonderfully, there expertise alleviated so much potential stress so we could just enjoy the moment.

Had the most amazing time for our wedding here on 23.12.23 hazel was brilliant in ever aspect of our stay, the staff were awsome made our time there very special highly recommend they couldn't do enough for us everything went to plan and was perfect thank you ❤️
