Micklefield Hall

It was an excellent day and everything ran very smoothly. Our favourite moment was the ceremony at the Temple.

Micklefield Hall was local to us, but feels like its in the middle of the country. We loved its exclusive use, beautiful grounds and team involved in organising everything. Our favourite moment were walking down the aisle and the first dance. We would definitely recommend Micklefield Hall!

Thank you for being so on top of our wedding from the very beginning, for helping us plan it through all its complexities, being always available to discuss any changes and most importantly on the day , executing it so flawlessly. We were both so impressed with how you handled it, and your personal efforts were very much appreciated - it felt like no matter how chaotic things felt, with you at the helm there was no way it wasn't going to run smoothly.

Everything about our wedding day was perfect. The food, the venue, the staff, everything. We barely had to stress about anything, Lauren from Micklefield was amazing and made sure our day was perfect. We literally couldn’t ask for more.

The Temple was decorated beautifully by Andrew Fleming, the florist. But the staff that made it! Ourselves and our family felt so at home and at ease. Away from the hustle and the bustle of London on such a beautiful sunny day! Everyone was OBSESSED with the chickens padding around too! All in all, it was the best day of our lives and I’m so glad I came across the venue and had it at Micklefield Hall.

What made you choose Micklefield Hall for your wedding? Even before we got engaged we had said we wanted to get married at a wedding venue that had a barn! We loved the rustic vibe! We also really wanted somewhere with picturesque gardens as we both love beautiful flowers! We love the real family feel at Micklefield and that was something that was important to us. It just felt like everyone really cared!

What made you choose Micklefield Hall for your wedding? It was love at first sight with the outside space and the barn was the most beautiful we have seen. Coupled with how warm and helpful all the staff were, and the thought and planning that they clearly put into each wedding. What was your favourite moment? Getting married outside at the pond, this is the one thing we really wanted, and you did everything in your power to make it happen for us.

As you know we were originally getting married on 25 April and are now getting married on 24 October 2020. We would like to say a massive thank you to Jamie, Anna, and the team for all your help and support with for moving our wedding date to so seamlessly.  In the current uncertainty and worrying times we had to make a difficult and upsetting decision to change our date to ensure our loved ones will be able to join and witness our love. Having a personal call from Jamie and others in the team to reassure us and work with us for a new date has lifted a weight off our shoulders. We couldn't be happier to have chosen such a beautiful venue and such a wonderful team that brings it to life. From the very start you have all made this 9 months of planning so incredibly easy and an absolute joy (not many wedded couples that we know can say that) thanks to you guys, we (and our family) now have something positive to look forward to later in the year and we are feeling so relaxed and happy about it.  Leading up to our wedding and long after our big day, we will always be spreading the word about Micklefield Hall and beautiful its family. Wow wow wow!!!! Hi all, We’ve finally landed back down on earth after being on cloud nine from the most incredible day. I don’t think we could ever thank you enough for how perfect our day was / ran. We have had countless comments on how stunning the venue is and with the sun beaming down on the grounds I think it’s safe to say it’s a place everyone will remember for a very long time. Lauren, you were incredible!!! I think you noticed that I may have ran events and been a project manager before so I apologise for keeping on asking you if everything was running ok! You kept us so at ease and we cannot thank you enough for every single thing you have done for us. I hope it wasn’t to stressful for you and you wasn’t too tired on Saturday! The way you all dealt with Matthews situation was more than we would have ever imagined, thank you for going the extra mile and taking him and Sue back to the hotel after he recovered! That is so kind and the fact everyone tried so hard to keep what was going on from us to ensure a stress free day was very thoughtful - we’re happy to say he is back on the mend and made it to our bbq yesterday! All the staff were amazing - I hope we didn’t drink the bar dry and everyone was polite to all your staff. Perfect day at the perfect venue! Good morning Julie,  I just wanted to say a massive thank you to the whole team for the best. Day. Ever.  We had so many people tell us how beautiful the venue was & how it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to.  Lauren was amazing, she deserves an award I don’t think I saw her sit still for even a second!  I have just received a sneak peak of some of the photos from our day and just wanted to share them with you.  Thank you again,  Mr & Mrs Andreopoulos
