The Hall and gardens are such a beautiful space that feel both historic and relaxed. The staff were brilliant in the run up to the wedding and on the day they felt as invested in the success of our wedding as we did! On our first look round the venue they provided locally sourced sparkling wine and afternoon tea and just totally won us over. The chef prepared me an individual dairy free afternoon tea separate to my families which was amazing. Every part of the planning was incredible! Chloe our event planner was on hand every step of the way. She was in on her days off to do extra show rounds for additional family members, she was emailing me back Sunday evenings with answers to my endless list of questions, and if she didn't know the answer she would research it and come back with ideas of what we could do instead or suppliers that might be able to help. The wedding wouldn't have been the same without her. Accommodation - We had 84 guests stay on site for the wedding which was just fab, made it into a 3 day event where everyone arrived Friday and could just relax and enjoy the weekend. The food was incredible, the number of people who have commented it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding for every single meal. It's expensive per guest but it's all local, organic and completely worth the price. Every member of staff just made us feel like we were celebrities. In the weeks leading up we would visit to sort things and honestly the excitement of the staff in the build up to the big day made it so much more special. They sorted everything on the day. We had an amazing breakfast buffet in the bridal suite, tidied everything up for us after getting ready and moved all my husbands stuff into our room for us whilst we were enjoying the day, tided the whole hall away after the party finished at midnight. I could go on and on about the wonderful things they did for us and how brilliant they were. From day one we were made to feel so special.
