Country Ways is a totally bespoke venue where you have the whole complex to yourselves and the freedom to create your own dream wedding from the day you book to the Big Day itself.
Country Ways gives you the opportunity to share a wonderful getaway experience with up to 120 of your friends and family in a stunning and very private location. With extensive gardens and ancient woodland, you can celebrate in style with the magnificent North Devon scenery as the backdrop for your special day.
What could be better than the exclusive use of our 5 self-catering cottages, our outdoor ceremony area The Cedars, which provides a truly romantic and picturesque experience? As well as the choice of 2 beautiful Barns sitting up to 120 guests. Country Ways has 18 acres of woodland and 24 acres of stunning North Devon Countryside.

From the moment you book until the day of your wedding we are here to support you. Sometimes this can be just to literally leave you alone to plan using your own creative ideas. However, we are always on hand to offer suggestions or help if needed. We also offer to help with all your Wedding Planning and dressing of the venue.

The hosts were fabulous, as was the food and the accommodation. The setting is gorgeous too as long as you don't mind narrow lanes to get here. Ideal for a family. My kids loved the hot tubs! The photos below of venue, with its breathtaking views, luxury accommodation and beautiful new barn speak for themselves. But what really makes country ways incredible is Tracey, Peter and the family. Nothing at all, was too much, they made so many moments perfect, even spring out hiccups that we wouldn’t find out about for days! From our first viewing to the extra night we stayed just us, we felt like the only people in the world with our own fairy godparents. From printing speeches last minute, to the people management, it was so perfect. Perfect location and perfect hosts. We will be back! It's rumoured weddings can be stressful, but Country Ways and our providers took all of that away and it was as plain sailing and a joy. We recently had our wedding at Country Ways in October 2024. Accommodation was great with fully loaded kitchens, superb beds ,hot tubs ,views ,parking and just great hospitality from all involved. it is home from home and a little piece of heaven. A Bassett Hound was the Best Man and spent the weekend wearing a smart black bow tie. We are a very dog-friendly venue!
