Chilli Barn is about ten miles north of Leeds and there is a wide choice of accommodation locally. Converted in 2014, Chilli Barn combines the charm and character of its rural past with a touch of glamour and modernity. The old wagon door, now glazed, opens out to the lawn and meadow. We offer two day weddings with access the day before to allow you to dress the Barn and surroundings to your taste, the barn from your ceremony time on the day of your wedding and a sit down wedding breakfast. We will work closely with you well in advance to develop a plan to make Chilli Barn the ideal place for your magical wedding. All our food is freshly cooked on site and can be served either to table or more informally as a buffet. We have recently created a new vegetarian menu which combines British and international influences and offers a wide range of choices to suit your taste. The ceremony capacity at Chilli Barn is 60 with an evening party capacity of 90. The space can be enhanced with an attached marquee or outdoor structure. The bar offers a wide range of wines, beers and spirits, many of which are organic, vegetarian and local. We can also serve a barrel of your favourite real ale from local breweries.

. At Chilli Barn, dining for over 40 guests will be spread across two floors. To increase reception space and dining options, we can also provide additional structures such as marquees, tipis, or yurts, available at an extra cost.

We knew Jo was the right florist for us from the very first call. She is so kind, caring, and a soothing presence. We had a very vague idea of what theme we wanted for our wedding (Autumnal), and Jo absolutely saw the vision and ran with it. We were happy to give her total creative freedom, as it's clear she is very skilled at what she does, but also cares massively about the end result. We're so glad we did that, as what we walked into on the day was far beyond anything either of us could've dreamed up ourselves, and it was absolutely gorgeous. Jo didn't just provide the flowers, she also dressed our venue, which saved us so much time and headaches in setting up, packing, storage, and disposal. The archway provided looked stunning, especially dressed in the autumnal flowers, and everything from the table runners to the candles Jo provided matched the theme perfectly. It was a massive relief for us to hand over all the logistics to Jo, and the price of doing so was well worth it - she really took all the stress away from us, leaving us to enjoy the actual day. The buttonholes, my flower crown, and my bouquet were stunning. We had so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue and flowers looked, and this is 100% down to Jo's efforts. In addition, she's an amazing soul, and you can't help but feel at ease in her company. It's a lovely, idyllic place that looks absolutely stunning even without decoration. From the start, Leah was wonderful. She advised us so much, it really helped us ease our stress. She really went above and beyond, and it meant the world to us. From her being super responsive to queries to even helping us set up the day before, we felt that Leah was instrumental in making our day so special.We got married here a month ago, and it is an absolutely incredible venue. We truly had the best day, from the planning process with Leah at the venue we were helped and advised wherever we need/asked to make the day what we wanted and on the day the whole team bought that to life with no input needed from us. The venue is perfect for a smaller, intimate wedding. The Chilli Barn team were incredibly professional and helpful, and everything appeared to me (the bride) to have gone smoothly and without a hitch! The wedding breakfast was delicious, and many of our guests told us that it was the best wedding food they've ever had (we agree!). The day had been so hectic up to that point and the weather had been a little overcast, but as soon as our wedding breakfast ended, the sun came out, and all our guests headed outside to sit round the fire pit, play lawn games and have a photo shoot at sunset. It was such a special moment that will stay with us forever. Still had Covid restrictions but it didn’t matter, we went ahead. All the staff were amazing from the date of the booking till the day after the wedding. It was a stressful time especially in covid times for both us as a couple and the venue staff but they did everything they could to help. We were updated along the way with rules and restriction. I want to do it all over again. It went too quick. The venue was perfect for us and the surroundings are beautiful, even on a day with rain. We had an amazing florist who made the venue m ring beautiful. My Wife and I ( I still can’t get used to it) married at Chilli Barn in July 21. Chilli Barn is on the edge of Otley Chevin, a ridge swathed in forest and pasture overlooking Lower Wharfedale so there are photo opportunities everywhere! Couples often make their way to 'Surprise View' and we can certainly see why!

Yes! - all our couples are celebrities - at least on their wedding day :)
