My wife and I were given the keys from midday on Friday afternoon through until Sunday at 10am, allowing us to decorate and prepare the hall exactly the way we wanted it to be for our ceremony and celebrations. The staff and trustees of the hall were completely approachable and contactable from the day we made our first enquiry to the day we handed back the keys. The hall was left for us in a very clean, fully functional and presentable state. The toilets were clean and restocked, the kitchen was spotless and the grounds were tidy and well tended. If we have any suggestions at all it is that the trustees consider installing air conditioning, given that on our wedding day temperatures passed 32°C. However, we were able to hold the ceremony outdoors, under the shade of the beautiful, aged tree in the grounds. Another suggestion is the installation of a PA system, as our musician didn’t arrive, with his PA system until during our wedding breakfast.
