The long gallery and grand salon where we had our ceremony and drinks reception are beautiful, as is the outside of the house and garden (and luckily the sun came out for us!). Lots of great places for photos and for guests to mill around. The staff were really helpful and friendly in making our day run smoothly, and accommodating requests, visits etc. Really pleased we chose it :)We had a lovely wedding ceremony at Charlton House. We started the celebrating with drinks and canapés in the walled garden and a confetti shower followed by formal dining in the galleried library. We were so pleased with the professional catering and bar service provided by 'Relish' who were one of the venue's preferred caterers. In the evening the venue turned into a fabulous boogie wonderland! Our family and guests expressed how much they enjoyed being at such a beautiful historic building. We just knew we'd made the right choice booking it. The office staff particularly Larissa were helpful from initial contact, to the last dance of the night.
