AMAZING WEDDING DAY AMAZING WEDDING DAY
We got married at Carbis Bay on the 17/09/22. It was the best weekend of our lives. Where do I begin… From the welcome reception we got from the hotel, it couldn’t have been any better. Me and my family were upgraded to one of the beautiful beach front lodges for the weekend. Thank you to the front of house for assisting. In particular I’d like to thank the three concierges Paul, Chris and Tyler for looking after us. Our Wedding Day… We got married in the wedding beach hut. It was better than we could have ever imagined. From the beautiful backdrop of Carbis Bay to the gorgeous weather that we were lucky to have, it truly was amazing. Thank you to the events team, who not only looked after us on the day but on the lead up to the wedding. Ria, Jess, Sofia, Katie, Kelsey & especially Maxine went above and beyond to make sure our day went as perfect as it did. We would highly recommend visiting the Carbis Bay Estate if you are planning to get married or for a break. Who would of thought this beautiful place was in the UK?! Thank you Carbis Bay Estate. Maxine and the girls where absolutely incredible for our wedding made sure everything run to plan and made our guests feel soo good! They where only let down by the two men serving at the bar, both myself and guest found them a little rude and miserable. Such a slight negative though as everything else was so perfect and it didn’t get in the way of the day at all! Special shout outs for Maxine being simply amazing throughout the day and a big shout out to Emily for being amazing with her supportiveness and communication throughout. I would thoroughly recommend Carbis Bay to anyone who is considering the hotel for there venue. Event team was great right from the get go with our conversations with Ria who was superb! Food was great and the hotel recommended DJ Stuart was amazing too! We cannot thank Ria and the staff at Carbis Bay enough for making our wedding day the most perfect day. Our beach wedding was more perfect than we ever imagined, there really is no place quite like Carbis Bay. The scenery, staff, food, drink, absolutely everything was amazing. Carbis Bay Hotel will forever hold a very special place in our hearts and we will always return! My husband and I planned an elopement for 3rd oct 2022, Carbis bay was recommended to us so we had a look online and decided this was the place for our big day. We’ve had a bit of a journey trying to get married as due to the pandemic we’d had 5 previous weddings that were sadly postponed, as you can image this was really upsetting and took the fun out of wedding planning for us. So we decided an elopement just the 2 of us would be best as we didn’t want to be disappointed again. Well there are literally no words I can write that will do Carbis bay and their amazing staff and events Team the justice they deserve! From the minute we drove up to the estate the views were impressive! We checked in at reception to be told that as a treat from the staff they were upgrading us for our special day, I was overcome with emotion! The accommodation we stayed in was another level, I’ve never stayed in such a beautiful place before, it just started our trip off on a high. On the wedding day we had staff assigned to us to help make our day run smoothly, they were the loveliest ladies and it was a pleasure to share our day with them. The ceremony, pictures, dinner everything they did was incredible and beyond my expectations, I’m thrilled with how our day turned out as we both had the best time and it was so perfect, more perfect then I’d ever imagined truly because of how the staff went above and beyond to make or special. Every single staff member we met was so genuinely lovely, they couldn’t do enough for us and the whole stay was seamless. The events team I liaised with for the planning were incredible from start to finish, they took my vision and made it way more special then I thought it thought it could be. Not to mention the value for money as the location is one of the best I have ever been too! So beautiful. We look forward to coming back there and from the bottom of our hearts we want to thank the whole team for their hard work and effort as they will never know how much that day meant to us and how much we appreciate the lengths they went to in order to make it a day to remember for us. Carbis Bay was the first venue we viewed for our wedding day & we made the decision then & there that Carbis Bay was the place we wanted to get married. The location as well as the venue is absolutely stunning. We got married in the Ocean Venue, so all of our guests had the most picturesque view of the beach throughout the ceremony & Wedding Breakfast. The venue were extremely professional & have events running like clockwork. We spent time with the very friendly events co-ordinators beforehand so they knew exactly what we wanted & they made sure to accommodate this. I also really liked the fact that they encouraged us to do things exactly how we wanted rather than how others do it (e.g., we split the speeches between courses etc). The team on the day were so friendly to us and all of our guests, everyone mentioned how fun the bar staff were as well as how organised everything was (which we can only credit the venue for, particularly Ria who helped us organise the special day). It was everything we had hoped for, we cannot recommend enough, we have also stayed many times since both in the hotel as well as the beach lodges and in my opinion, it truly is the best venue in Cornwall.Carbis Bay was the first venue we viewed for our wedding day & we made the decision then & there that Carbis Bay was the place we wanted to get married.
