Great venue, would highly recommend!

We had a small ceremony with 28 guests followed by a reception with 90 guests. The staff at The Bush were brilliant and very attentive, they went out of their way to make our day special!

The most magical venue to hold our wedding!

From our initial meeting to our wedding day, the staff at the Bush Hotel made every effort to help us plan the wedding of our dreams and ensure the day ran smoothly. The food was amazing and all our guests commented on the quality of the meal. The bridal suite was lovely with nice views of the hotel. On the day, we used the lawn at the front for our welcome drinks before moving inside for our meal. The venue was decorated really nicely by the staff and we were also able to drop-off our own decorations a few days before (which took off the pressure of having to do that on the day). Special thanks to Hannah and Francesco who went above and beyond to support our wedding.

Beautiful Venue for our Wedding

The Bush Hotel was fantastic. The whole team was excellent from start to finish. From Hannah and Kash who helped with our preparation to Francesco who ran the show on the day, plus the excellent service staff. It was very nice to meet them as we enjoyed being around them. They are friendly and polite, and truly made a very good impression on both of us. Our wedding meal was amazing, our guests were saying the three-course meal was delicious and all our guests had plenty on their plates to eat. We were happy to hear that our guests were full and enjoyed every course. We were looked after very nicely and they made us feel welcome, cared for, and comfortable. We made beautiful memories and would love to come back for a special meal in the future. Our wedding suite was truly beautiful, high quality, and nicely decorated. It is a dream room to stay in. The hotel is stunning, it has character, and it is designed to amaze anybody who walks in. A great venue in the heart of Farnham

Describe the best wedding that happened at Bush Hotel, Farnham?

I enjoy all the weddings - when the sun is shining everyone always seems happier! However, we recently held a wedding where the groom was South African - they wanted to show his side of the family a real 'British' event and so we did an Afternoon Tea Wedding Breakfast with a 'Gin in Teacups' bar - the decor was amazing - very autumnal and it was a great day to be involved with!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Don't rush the arrival drinks! Couples tend to make the time after the ceremony and before the wedding breakfast too short and are rushing to get photos done, say hello and enjoy the food! Relax and enjoy this time! Let everybody hug you and congratulate you!

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

One wedding had the 6 year old flower girl (and daughter) do the place settings for each guest - each one had their name and a unique picture on each - they were so bright and colourful and put a real personal touch on the whole day.

Our iconic doorway! We are really lucky to have lots of green spaces for photographs too, given that we are in the centre of town.

Its overall quite a unique venue but the open fires in every space are always welcome - even in the summer - they add loads of character to the space and set the tone!

What part of your business are you most proud of?

We have only been independent since the beginning of 2022 and are a completely new team so I'm super proud of everything really - creating our own experience for guests and building their weddings with them bit by bit.
