From the very first visit, we knew it was something special. Our initial viewing was with Sara, who was absolutely wonderful: warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to show us around. She made us feel instantly at ease, and being accompanied by her lovely Labrador, Buddy, only added to the charm and relaxed atmosphere of the place. The venue itself is breathtaking, with beautifully thought-out spaces that flow effortlessly from one part of the day to the next. The only small improvement we could suggest would have been a hard-copy brochure, as there are so many options and configurations available. While this is a huge positive, allowing you to create a completely bespoke wedding, it can feel slightly overwhelming at first simply because there are so many brilliant possibilities. We were initially disappointed to miss out on our first-choice date when another couple booked just ahead of us, but the team were supportive throughout, and we ultimately secured our perfect date by moving slightly later in the year. In hindsight, we wouldn’t change a thing. In the lead-up and on the day itself, Emily was an exceptional planner. She was calm, organised, endlessly kind, and always one step ahead, making us feel completely looked after and able to relax and enjoy every moment. The wider planning team were equally fantastic- responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. The venue itself is not only stunning but incredibly well run. The bar team were brilliant, friendly, and efficient, with very reasonable prices, especially appreciated by our guests travelling from London. The fact that the venue has 32 on-site bedrooms was a huge highlight, meaning nearly all of our guests could stay over. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and extremely comfortable, and our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how much they loved them. We also loved that there is no in-house caterer, giving us the freedom to choose French Kitchen, who were absolutely superb and delivered incredible food. Finally, the styling team were truly outstanding. They worked closely with us to keep everything within budget while bringing our vision to life flawlessly. The styling was elegant, thoughtful, and the florals were completely out of this world. This venue offers the perfect balance of beauty, flexibility, professionalism, and genuine care. Not only did the staff all do an amazing job both in the run up and on the day, but everyone we worked with was so lovely and attentative. We also received such great feedback from our guests about how well looked after they were. The house and grounds are of course stunningly beautiful, and walking around you feel like you're in a fairytale. There are so many different spaces you can use, and Brympton is happy for you to be creative in trying to move about as much as possible - we used seven completely different areas across a day! (And a recent decoration of the large dance floor in the stables - which I don't think is on the website yet - looks great) On accomodation, there are lots of rooms on site and good variability for different budgets and needs. Aside from a little trouble with water pressure, everyone who stayed was very happy, and it makes for a lovely send off in the morning with everyone having breakfast together. Brympton has lots of great suppliers they can recommend, which was really helpful. There are some required suppliers, who we had great experiences with, including Bacchus Bars and the Little Green Hut. Outside of these, we found Brympton was accommodating of new suppliers. Of particular help were the open days the house puts on regularly, which gives you a chance to talk to lots of people and just enjoy the venue! A particular shout out goes to the amazing Emily, who worked as our wedding coordinator. Depending on the package you go for, you might need to do quite a bit of sorting between suppliers - so we would highly recommend you get the additional support from the brilliant teambee to help with organising. From all the planning to the day itself Emily was infectiously enthusiastic, kept us sane and on top of everything, and so very lovely we would like another wedding with her as a guest! Wilson, who oversaw the evening coordination for us, was also brilliant - cool, calm and a great person to work with, creating such a relaxed atmosphere. Jake - who seemed to do everything imaginable on the day, evening, and the morning after- was so accommodating and helpful. We would also like to credit the fantastic Ellie, Dani and the team at Style by Design for the most stunning flower arrangements we could imagine. Ellie was so diligent and patient in the design consultation and we still have guests raving at how amazing their creations were. We looked at so many venues before deciding on Brympton - there's just something magic about it, and the people there work hard to protect that. We’ll be getting married in the 13th-century chapel, which is truly breathtaking, and there are three dining rooms to choose from for the wedding breakfast. Because of our guest numbers, we’ll be choosing between two of them. What has really set this venue apart, though, is the team. Every interaction we’ve had has been wonderful, and the level of care and professionalism has been second to none. The meticulous planning and detail throughout the weekend was outstanding. The grounds are so well maintained and the cleanliness in every room and all facilities were excellent. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace with the glorious view of the lake, walks around the gardens and relaxing with a candlelit dinner. The food was delicious with an impressive presentation. I spent months researching out a variety of different castles, estates and venues all throughout the British Isles and ended up after about 100 enquiries, choosing Brympton House. It was one of the best decisions I could have made! We were drawn to the property because of its beautiful architecture, the temple, the capacity to sleep so many guests on site (we booked all 31 bedrooms and added glamping), and the staff was so kind and professional. They made the planning process so easy and made me feel at ease with every question (no matter how small or complicated). When the wedding week rolled around- I can safely say that this was the most magical 3 days of my life. This property is so special- it feels calm, ethereal, and full of beautiful quiet spots to explore. The staff at Brympton, including Wilson, Natalie with Team Bee, Ellie and Danni with Style by Design, the Bacchus Bar team, etc were so lovely and totally on top of things! Some of my guests were professional wedding vendors too and we were ALL impressed. There are multiple stunning locations on site that you can use- we opted for the South Terrace for our welcome party (followed by the Library Bar and State Dining Room after dark). We used the Temple for the ceremony, the Salon for dinner, and the Party Barn for dancing. Then we ended our 3rd day with brunch in the Main Dining Room. The sky is the limit and the experience is super customizable. All of the bedrooms (and even the glamping beds) were super comfortable, clean and absolutely lovely. We had pretty high standards for the rooms, and they did not disappoint. Brympton House will forever be one of my favorite memories and is now some of the most cherished days of my life. As a bride and wedding planner who has reached out 100's of venues in the UK- save yourself the time and go ahead and book Brympton House.
