Brocket Hall Estate - one of England's finest Golf, Events, Dining & Residential Country Estates, set in 543 acres of beautiful countryside and with a full and varied history. Situated just 22 miles from Central London, Brocket Hall Estate is a luxury venue offering a selection of locations to suit the scale of your corporate or social celebrations, weddings or event, and the size of your guest list perfectly.
With three venues available to choose from across the Estate, there truly is something for everyone!
Brocket Hall
Built in 1760, Brocket Hall has been home to two prime ministers, played host to George IV, Queen Victoria and Lady Caroline Lamb, who introduced the Waltz to England in our Ballroom. Our Exclusive Use Stately home offers you a wedding day fit for royalty and is the ideal setting for those couples who are looking for complete privacy & first class service from our team of in-house Butlers.
Brocket Hall can truly become a home away from home, seating up to 150 of your nearest and dearest for ceremony & wedding breakfast. We can welcome up to 200 guests for the evening for you to party the night away.
There are 30 luxurious en-suite double bedrooms within Brocket Hall and a further possible 16 bedrooms available in the Melbourne Lodge, sleeping a maximum of 88 guests.
Oak Room
The Melbourne Club houses our beautiful Oak Room, a light and airy space with wooden beams, a vaulted ceiling and private wraparound terrace offering breath taking views across the Estate & Broadwater Lake. For your Civil Ceremony and Reception, we can welcome up to 120 of your guests and an additional 50 guests for your evening celebrations.
Set within the grounds of the Brocket Hall Estate lies Melbourne Lodge, our elegant Georgian coach house conversion. Previously the stable block, it sheltered the tireless steeds that not only took the Halls residents hunting, but also provided the main point of interest on race days proudly held on the private race course that circled the Estate during the 18th Century. With beautiful views of the Broadwater Lake and the Melbourne golf course, the 16 luxury en-suite bedrooms in Melbourne Lodge, each named after one of the great racehorses of the day, are the perfect place to stay.
Auberge du Lac
The Estates former 17th Century hunting lodge is now our unique, tranquil waterside restaurant. Our award-winning Auberge du Lac is offered on an exclusive use basis, ensuring there will be no other dining taking place on your chosen day. A more intimate number of up to 40 guests can be accommodated for your ceremony & wedding breakfast, with an additional 20 guests for your evening reception.

- MMatthew & Beverly22/11/2025Bravo - a truly dream day - absolutely stunning!!Bravo - a truly dream day - absolutely stunning!!We looked at a lot of different venues but when we started to look round Brocket Hall and especially when we walked into the main Ball Room we knew it was the venue for us! You really couldn't hope for more wonderfully regal atmosphere. So many photo opportunities in an incredible venue, fabulous different bedrooms including possibly the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in! The set up of the different entertainment rooms in the Hall made the organisation and flow of the different parts of the day fit together beautifully. We had the cutting of the cake on the staircase, throwing of the Bouquet, wedding favours, a post box, a photo to write messages on and the order of the day as well as a 6 piece band and a dance floor - the venue is perfect to fit it all in!! The food was exceptional - from the hearty morning breakfast to the epic wedding breakfast to the selection of evening bites - which other than being delicious were a very nice way of minimising the impact of the excellent wine for the next day! The staff were impeccable keeping the day running perfectly. Steven, Eleni, Greg and Khalil where amazing - thoughtful and attentive along with all the other staff they really helped make our wedding day extra special! We continue to get plenty of compliments from the guests and would thoroughly recommend Brocket Hall to anyone! Her attention to detail and calm approach gave us complete confidence, and she was always just a message away when we needed her. We truly couldn't have done it without her. On the day itself, everything ran like clockwork thanks to Steven, Tom, and Cole, who worked together brilliantly to make sure every part of the day flowed effortlessly. From the ceremony setup to the timing of each course, they managed it all with such professionalism and warmth that we (and our guests) felt completely looked after throughout. The venue itself was breathtaking—Auberge du Lac offered a perfect blend of elegance and intimacy, set against the peaceful backdrop of the lake and rolling estate grounds. Our whole stay then from the beginning on Friday evening and the rooms in the Melbourne Lodge to our weekend activity was simply wonderful. The staff all ways round were so very attentive and kind and we felt as though nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection, even for those who had any dietary requirements. Well what can I say but a massive thank you for helping us to all enjoy the most amazing weekend.
