- LLouise and Colin16/09/2025Perfect from start to finish! Perfect from start to finish!We had a perfect day thanks to Becky and her team at the Britannia. Nothing was too much trouble and a fantastic day was had by all. Becky's attention to all details shone throughout the day, and the transformation from "just a room' into something very special was incredible. The food we had for our wedding breakfast was wonderful, as was the buffet we had in the evening. The grounds are beautiful and there are some very lovely places just right for photos. I would highly recommend the Britannia for any wedding and can't thank them enough for our very special day! We had a perfect day thanks to Becky and her team at the Britannia. Nothing was too much trouble and a fantastic day was had by all. Becky's attention to all details shone throughout the day, and the transformation from "just a room' into something very special was incredible. The food we had for our wedding breakfast was wonderful, as was the buffet we had in the evening. The grounds are beautiful and there are some very lovely places just right for photos. I would highly recommend the Britannia for any wedding and can't thank them enough for our very special day!

We got the most amazing compliments back from the food & the service. I could believe there was 100 people at my day meal and there wasn’t 1 complaint from anyone. We decorated the venue ourselves and was always asked if we needed any help and Becky and her team was always there to help. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who looks to book a wedding in the future. Thank you to Becky & James for all the help on the day. - CChristian05/08/2025Our weddingOur weddingFrom day one Becky & the team were very helpful with the planning, booking our wedding guests rooms etc, we was nervous at first but quickly became comfortable with the warm & friendly atmosphere of the hotel, the day of the wedding was so professional and the food was absolutely amazing, honestly we cannot recommend Britannia Hotel enough, thank you once again Becky & Team for making our day special, honestly guys the value of money and professionalism you get here shouldn't be missed.From day one Becky & the team were very helpful with the planning, booking our wedding guests rooms etc, we was nervous at first but quickly became comfortable with the warm & friendly atmosphere of the hotel, the day of the wedding was so professional and the food was absolutely amazing, honestly we cannot recommend Britannia Hotel enough, thank you once again Becky & Team for making our day special, honestly guys the value of money and professionalism you get here shouldn't be missed.

Our Wedding was extra special, as the Hotel has a Beautiful 16th Century Chapel just across the Car Park.. we were able to have a blessing there as well as the Ceremony at the hotel. All our guests have commented on how unique our wedding was and that it was up there There are no words to describe the professionalism of Becky (The Wedding Co-ordinator) & James(The Hotel Manager) From the first meeting, we were made to feel special, nothing was too much trouble, we were kept updated throughout. The main celebration room is very adaptable. We had the ceremony, wedding breakfast and dance all in the same place and the staff turned it around incredibly fast. I’m sure some of the guests thought they were in a different room each time!! We also had a choice of where we wanted to have the bar set up and the evening buffet.
