The private drive to Bridal Barn transports you to another time and place. This magical setting allows you and your guests to celebrate your marriage and future together without the distractions of daily life.
Nestled against its own private woodland, in over 100 acres of Shropshire’s finest hills, Bridal Barn provides a unique setting for your special day. Our lovingly restored sandstone barn dates back to the 16th century. With vaulted, oak beamed ceilings and flagstone floors, you have an outstanding space assured to impress.
Once part of a larger estate, the farmland was used as a hunting ground for Henry VIII. You and your guests will be walking in the footsteps of Royalty!
Originally forming part of the Chyknell estate, the woodland was named Bridal Coppice as part of a dowry. The venue’s name, Bridal Barn, is a tribute to its rich history and we’d love to share this special place with you.
Exchanging vows is such an important part of your day, you can choose from three locations within the venue…
The Woodland - with panoramic views from its elevated position, the woodland’s outdoor location is where Mother Nature provides a stunning backdrop.
The Barn - the lovingly restored barn looks out to the courtyard. The oak vaulted ceilings and stone walls have incredible character so that you can dress and style to take advantage of its rustic charm.
The Tipi - positioned in the courtyard, the tipi offers a unique combination of both indoor and outdoor elements.

- RRich27/07/2023we had the wedding of our dreamswe had the wedding of our dreamsWe first visited Bridal Barn back in March 2019, the first and last wedding venue we saw - having seen the setting we knew we didn't need to see anything else and we had the wedding of our dreams at Bridal Barn! The venue is the most stunning back drop with the right mix of rustic and elegant, we were lucky to have good weather which meant we could have our ceremony on the hill with the beautiful views of the rolling countryside.We first visited Bridal Barn back in March 2019, the first and last wedding venue we saw - having seen the setting we knew we didn't need to see anything else and we had the wedding of our dreams at Bridal Barn! The venue is the most stunning back drop with the right mix of rustic and elegant, we were lucky to have good weather which meant we could have our ceremony on the hill with the beautiful views of the rolling countryside.

There's ample indoor space for the main affairs, a lovely courtyard with firepits and lanterns for when the sun comes out, and a tipi to make for a great party. Set off the main hustle & bustle of Bridgnorth - you wouldn't know this site is there until you go down the km-long drive way. if you'd like the ceremony indoors or up in the forest area. We got married here on 17th July, having booked two years prior. Nothing was too much trouble. They recommended several of our chosen suppliers (all who were fantastic), allowed us to visit as regularly as possible & assisted with table plans and general advice regarding the flow of the day. With no set suppliers, corkage charges or other typical limitations, we felt we could really make our day our own. We cannot recommend The Bridal Barn highly enough to anyone looking for a wedding venue. We got married here on 17th July, having booked two years prior. Nothing was too much trouble. They recommended several of our chosen suppliers (all who were fantastic), allowed us to visit as regularly as possible & assisted with table plans and general advice regarding the flow of the day. The Bridal Barn was the first venue we had visited and the only place we needed to see after attending their open day back in 2019! The views are incredible and being able to have such freedom to decorate the venue to your own individual taste (even though it really isn't needed!). We were so lucky to have such gorgeous weather and enjoying drinks in the gorgeous courtyard. We recently got married at the Bridal Barn and cannot explain how privileged we feel to have had our day here. The Bridal Barn was the first venue we had visited and the only place we needed to see after attending their open day back in 2019! The views are incredible and being able to have such freedom to decorate the venue to your own individual taste (even though it really isn't needed!). The outside space is well laid out for all seasons. We got married on a rainy day but the tipi and fire pits give you a covered and warm space to use in all weathers. The staff were incredible. Look out for the two pigs that are in the woods, they are beautiful for all those animal lovers and a good surprise in your wedding photos if you don't know they're there!When entering the barn you're met with a beautifully restored property with lots of space and multiple areas to be used as you wish. I simply can't describe how insanely magical and special this venue is, that alone deserves 10 stars!! We wanted a venue which we could make our own and Bridal Barn sure did that for us. Our wedding was rearranged 3 times due to covid and albeit not everything went to plan along the way, the team (Jill, Ben & Paul) were all so attentive to detail, they went way above and beyond to make sure our day was simply perfect and I cannot thank them enough!! Wow, wow, wow!! I simply can't describe how insanely magical and special this venue is, that alone deserves 10 stars!! We wanted a venue which we could make our own and Bridal Barn sure did that for us. Our wedding was rearranged 3 times due to covid and albeit not everything went to plan along the way, the team (Jill, Ben & Paul) were all so attentive to detail, they went way above and beyond to make sure our day was simply perfect and I cannot thank them enough!!
