Description
Boconnoc is one of the most beautiful private hire estates in the South West. It offers luxuriously appointed guest accommodation, multiple ceremony and celebration spaces, and award-winning architectural renovation.
Wedding couples exclusively hire Boconnoc and plan their wedding weekend around their dreams. There are no hotel restrictions or other guests, just you and your favourite people in acres upon acres of idyllic Cornish Countryside; the entire estate will be at the disposal of you and your guests.
For the main celebrations, the heart of the estate is Boconnoc House, an impressive four-reception-room Georgian country house with unending views across stunning private parkland. For ceremony options, there is Boconnoc Church, the Dorothy Garden, Boconnoc House, a sunken Bath House, a Coach House, and Boconnoc House Lawn, as well as an additional 15 options for smaller ceremonies. Your wedding party size is as flexible as you need; up to 100 guests can be comfortably seated in Boconnoc House, which can be extended with various marquee options. For your wedding eve party, we have the Stable Yard with five rustic entertainment spaces and a large courtyard.
Flowers, food, entertainment, and drinks, like the day's running order, are all chosen by you. Choose either from Boconnoc's tried-and-tested suppliers list or those you have found yourself. The brilliant Boconnoc team will be on hand regularly throughout the planning process and your wedding day to ensure your dreams come true.
Boconnoc Estate can accommodate up to 54 of your guests in luxurious rooms and cottages. For your additional guest party, we recommend accommodation options in Lostwithiel or the charming coastal villages of Looe and Fowey.
You can hire Boconnoc Estate for two-night and three-night weddings at weekends during the spring, summer and late-summer wedding seasons. One-night weddings are available during the week or at weekends during the autumn and winter.

Day before set up available
One or two night weddings come with accommodation for up to 54 guests. The accommodation is spread over Boconnoc House, the Stewardry and three surrounding cottages. For two night weddings, all guests staying in Boconnoc House will be served a locally sourced breakfast each morning.
You will have exclusive use of the ground floor of Boconnoc House on your wedding day, including four reception rooms, and the surrounding grounds. Should you have more than 100 guests there is a terrace area for a marquee extensions (accommodating an extra 140 guests). There will be a fully staffed bar in the house and outdoor furniture and a lit firepit on the lawn.
Around the Estate are a number of beautiful and unique locations for your ceremony, whether you opt for a church wedding, a civil ceremony or a Humanist service. Outdoors, you can choose from the Georgian bathhouse, Dorothy Garden or Woodland Glade, and for indoor ceremonies there is the Coach House or Museum for 100 guests. Boconnoc Church can be hired at an additional rate for 170 guests.
For two-night weddings you will have exclusive use of the Stable Yard, for your pre-wedding party. The Stable Yard can comfortably accommodated 54 guests on trestle tables and benches. It has a fully staffed bar, festoon lighting and firepits, as well as a games room to keep guests entertained.
In addition, guests can enjoy onsite activities including paddleboarding, tennis, cycling, and Deer Safari experiences.
