We had 80 people and the size of room was absolutely perfect for our party. The food was amazing and the selection of drinks and the prices were excellent. The staff on the night couldn’t do enough for you. Our event had been cancelled twice due to COVID and the events team had been so good when trying to re-arrange our dates. Everyone who came commented on how fantastic the venue was. I would definitely book here agaiWe held our wedding evening reception in the cocktail lounge in October 2021. We would like to thank Paul and the team. Excellent throughout. A lot of people commented on how excellent the food was. You went out of your way to ensure elderly relatives were able to use the lift and this put a big relief on family as without your support they wouldn’t have been able to attend. The staff were very accommodating and helpful through out the process. We had to change the date twice due to our circumstances, this wasn’t a problem for Bertie’s. We cannot thank you all enough for everything you have done for our day. Paul is an absolute diamond. He did everything we could have asked of him, and made sure our day was smooth and fluid. All of our guests were commenting at how amazing he was with them, with the whole event and with making sure everybody was ok and had what they wanted. All of them stated that he deserved a medal and a lot of recognition for the day. He was tentative and made sure we had everything, always been on hand. Our guests also commented on how brilliant he was with the rest of the team and how he looked after them. Likewise with Paul's second in command on the day, unfortunately cannot remember his name. All of the waiters and waitresses all had a smile on their faces and we efficient behind the bar so nobody was left waiting. Faultless. As for the food. Everybody on our guest list commented on how amazing the food was. The chefs deserve a lot of recognition for this. All the food was out in a timely manner and nobody was left waiting for their food. It was piping hot and the quality was remarkable. The whole day was everything we dreamed of and Paul and the team made this happen.
