- KKatie & Adam05/06/2025Dreams do come true 🩷Dreams do come true 🩷We had the most amazing day. The venue is in the most amazing position with breathtaking views. We had the BBQ option for food and it was delicious. We had the ice cream bike for dessert - Highly recommend. The rooms are clean and comfortable and everyone is super friendly. The downsides - a lot of the decor and set up you are required to do yourself. Make sure you have enough people to help and pull of your vision. The other downside was partial no fault of the hotel, because we had a late ceremony (3pm) and there is a LOT to fit into the time you have, we found that by the time we had eaten the BBQ, taken photos, had the first dance and cut the cake we were exhausted and when the buffet came out at 9pm all of the guests were still full so effectively we paid for food that was then wasted. Like I say though, this was not a fault of the hotel - just wish they had advised us a little more on timings, if we had got married at 1pm it may have meant people were hungry enough for the BBQ. This is a family run hotel and everything feels personal. The breakfast was amazing. Rooms are super comfortable and whilst they have their way of doing things after many years of going weddings I still feel like they accommodated us as much as they could. Other than that awesome. Attentive. Food great meal and buffet, silver service. We had the ceremony, meal, pictures, evening doo and stayed the night. It ran very smooth.Absolutely brilliant.
