- EEcem08/05/2025We had the most wonderful wedding at Andaz!We had the most wonderful wedding at Andaz!We had our wedding at the Andaz London Liverpool Street Hotel in April, in their ‘Studio’ space and it was one of the best decisions we’ve made. From our first contact with Hannah, Umut and the Andaz team, until the wedding day, they have been very responsive, reassuring and professional. We had multiple checkins with Hannah run up to the big day, and every little detail were written down and followed up on, which is a testament to their professionalism. They took time to understand the type of wedding we’d like to have and exceeded all our expectations. We used the hotel’s own catering for food which we had as buffet style, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was for days! This is in addition to an immaculate service we received from the staff during the wedding. Each member of the staff had a big smile on their faces sharing our happiness! The other huge plus is that Andaz hotel has so many beautiful spaces inside the hotel, such as Rake’s Parlour, the Temple and we were lucky enough to take couple’s photographs at those spaces which look like from out of an catalogue! Our photographer, who’s done so many weddings before, said this is one of the most unique venues she’s ever seen. The hotel is in an excellent location, so it was a nice historic visit for our oversees guests. We stayed the night at the hotel and was treated to their amazing buffet breakfast the morning! I couldn't believe how easy it was to coordinate everything from thousands of miles away. Everything turned out better than expected. Our guests were floored by all the details. Our dream wedding wouldn't have been accomplished without the coordination and staff of the Andaz. We decided on an intimate destination wedding from CA to London. We fell in love with the vibe of the hotel two years before while on holiday. I couldn't believe how easy it was to coordinate everything from thousands of miles away. The Andaz was the most incredible venue from start to finish - from wedding fairs and recommending vendors, to bending over backwards for Dan & I to have our dream wedding. Groomzilla with 10000 questions was like water off a duck’s back for the Andaz, and their incredible incredible team. Hannah is more than the woman who made the dream come true, she is a lifelong best friend to us both. We used the Bishopsgate & Chancery for our ceremony, decorated by the wonderful Toby from House of Toby events. He transformed an already stunning space into an intimate wonderland, he set the scene with the help of Hannah & the team for the beginning of our wonderful life. There’s not much more I can say about the 1901 ballroom that doesn’t speak for itself. The second Dan & I walked into this room during a wedding fair in 2022, we knew this was exactly where we wanted our family and friends to gather & celebrate us. It’s a stunningly ornate venue, that needs little in the way of making it look incredible - however what Toby achieved was stunning. From our menu tasting, to countless meetings and run throughs with Hannah (many cocktails & afternoon tea days for Dan & I in between), the Andaz has become a home away from home for us. The friendly faces, the incredible venue, and food absolutely TO DIE FOR. Dan & I would have found happiness no matter where we were - but at the Andaz we didn’t even have to look. Thank you all for the most wonderful day of our lives, for the friendships and laughter over the last few years, and for treating us like your very own on our special day. What kinds of weddings have taken place at your venue?
The weddings we host at Andaz are always beautifully personal, with couples putting their own spin on the day. One couple went the non-traditional way, with evening food and cocktails at the bar, a garage DJ, and live vocals from Lauren Scott, who performed Flowers and had the whole room singing along.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Decide what matters most to you early on, whether that’s food, music, or the party — and plan everything else around it.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
I've seen many, I think our top one would have to be Sarah & Martin who asked each guest to plant a flower seed in one big vase and shared the result with us a few months later - a beautiful mix of flowers to remind them of that great day.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Honestly, there isn’t just one. Andaz is full of standout photo moments. Couples love the marble staircase for classic elegance, the Rotunda — inspired by the Guggenheim Museum in New York for something architectural and dramatic, and Rake’s Bar for a more editorial feel. Our iconic lobby ties it all together, offering a bold London backdrop that feels effortlessly stylish and Of course your event space of choice for your wedding.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
No celebrity weddings...yet! However many famous people have visited us, including Lady Gaga who shot her infamous Hello Kitty session for Vogue at our Masonic Temple.

What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our most unique feature has to be our original Masonic Temple, the only one in The City! This room was sealed behind a fake wall and later re-discovered when planning the hotel's refurbishment. Now restored to it's full glory it can hold your Wedding dinner or your party!
