Its a really nice Hotel, and the staff were so friendly to us and accommodating. They brought us coffee and food while we set up our equipment and waited around for our sound check when they heard we played all 80s songs. And a big shout out to Geraldine and Pat in the main bar, they really looked after us and were full of chat. We played at a wedding on Friday 12 Sep, and we had a lovely time. Its a really nice Hotel, and the staff were so friendly to us and accommodating. The hotel itself and the rooms are gorgeous and decorated so tastefully. The food and drink were top notch, but the most impressive part is the staff. The team at the Erris Coast truly cannot do enough for you, they are simply fantastic. A massive shout out to Deborah, our wedding coordinator, and also to the wonderful Mary. My husband and I were married in the Erris Coast earlier this year, and from start to finish it was simply the most fantastic weekend. From our first contact, Deborah made us feel very welcome and she worked closely with us and was always available to discuss our wedding plans with her. We loved the personal touch the hotel offered us. We held the ceremony in the Nephin Suite upstairs and the room had such a good atmosphere, it was stunning!We are SO HAPPY we picked the Erris Coast Hotel for our wedding. The venue is absolutely stunning and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The food was gorgeous, the accommodation fantastic and the staff were amazing. Deborah and her staff not only fulfilled all of our requirements, they exceeded them. Possibly the friendliest staff I have ever encountered, genuinely attentive and helpful people. The rooms are spotless and so comfortable. We had dinner there which was beautiful and the breakfast was lovely and huge. The entire Geesala/Doohoma area is glorious. To say we were thrilled with our choice is an understatement. From the first moment that we met Deborah and the all of the staff we were put at ease and knew this was the place for us. We wanted a small, intimate wedding and nothing was too much trouble the team. Every detail was considered & we were guided through the whole process. It’s a close call, but our favourites have to be our mini beef sliders or our goat’s cheese and caramelised onion tarts. It has to be the stunning wooden beams in our Millington Bar and Nephin Restaurant, which have a story all of their own. Hailing from a cathedral in Belfast, these beautiful original beams bring character, history and a real sense of place to the hotel.
