The whole estates conception was born from the love of a young man named Ultred Knox who believed his bride was so special she deserved to live in a castle. Carrying on this tradition of love, Mount Falcon Estate is a spectacular and charming place where you can relax and enjoy the best day of your life. Our venue, nestled in the stunning West of Ireland, is one of the most impressive spaces to host a wedding. Mount Falcon is versatile and accommodating, and we take advantage of our beautiful surroundings when creating your perfect day. Be it the open-air freshness of spring and summer by our lake, or the crisp and cozy warmth of autumn and winter inside by the fire, the feel of your day becomes our only concern. Delicious food, plentiful drinks and those all-important home comforts make your day feel familiar and at the same time completely different for both you as a couple and for your guests. Our staff pride themselves on their personal touch, caring for each guest as a member of their extended Mount Falcon family. We have a proven track record and are well known as one of Ireland's best venues in which to hold your wedding.

    Mount Falcon is a stunning wedding venue and our guests loved it! We got married here in late May 2017 and it all went perfectly. Alan helped coordinate our wedding very efficiently and we were treated faultlessly on the day too. Given they were catering for 100 people, the food was amazing (especially the canapes!). Our guests had fun, were impressed with the venue and loved the food - what more can you ask for. The sun even came out.     We just celebrated our 10 year anniversary party last weekend at Mount Falcon. We held our wedding reception there and wanted a redo as many of our friends couldn't make the event. I can't thank Saoirse and her team enough. They went ABOVE and BEYOND. They were extremely accommodating to our needs. The food and service was absolutely fabulous. The best time was had by all. Highly, highly recommend We just celebrated our 10 year anniversary party last weekend at Mount Falcon. We held our wedding reception there and wanted a redo as many of our friends couldn't make the event. I can't thank Saoirse and her team enough. They went ABOVE and BEYOND.     We've been lucky enough to have been able to attend a wedding at the Mount Falcon. Everything was managed in the most professional way, all regulations were followed to the letter...but a most enjoyable time was had by all, highly recommend for anyone thinking of booking for a special occasion...fantastic staffWe've been lucky enough to have been able to attend a wedding at the Mount Falcon.     I've had the pleasure of filming weddings here and recently stayed with my wife for our wedding anniversary, and it was a treat from start to finish. So helpful, so friendly, they surprised us with a bottle of wine on ice in our room. The grounds are magnificent, I went for a morning jog and was amazed at the rabbits watching me pass, and the trout literally jumping out of the lake, it was blissful. Mount Falcon Estate is a luxury 32 bedroom 4-star deluxe hotel with 45 luxury lodges located on the west bank of the River Moy and is situated perfectly for exploring the 2500km of rugged Irish coastline called The Wild Atlantic Way. Mount Falcon hotel offers 100 acres of magical woodlands, between Foxford and Ballina, in North County Mayo, the most beautiful part of the West of Ireland. Situated in the heart of the Moy Valley (which encompasses Mayo North and Co. Sligo) this Victorian Gothic manor house (est. 1876) exudes understated elegance from a bygone era. I am biased - but there are so many great photo spots at Mount Falcon. The lake, the woods, the driving range, the falconry, and of course the hotel itself has so many beautiful nooks and crannys! They all make amazing photos in all seasons of the year.

I really love our wine cellar, it is such a quirky space and be used for so many things. A few private moments during the drinks reception, a celebratory drink with your family or wedding party, photos.....
