The White Poplar, a romantic prairie venue in Manitoba, provides a secludedwedding escape with convenient access from Selkirk and Winnipeg. You'll find it at the corner of Highway 59 and St Clements Road 81 N.
The capacity is 200 guests, and facilities include an outdoor ceremony site, an indoor reception area, climate control restrooms, two bridal prep rooms and a catering prep area.
The lovely grounds of the venue are perfect for the outdoor wedding ceremony, and in case of rain, the ceremony moves into the covered pavilion.
Organizing a Wedding at White Poplar
This venue featuring great views of the typical Manitoba landscapes has an open vendor policy. Also, the BYO policy requires you to obtain a social occasion permit through the LGCA. The venue charges a corkage fee serving alchol events.
Early access to the venue, décor cleaning and storage service is also provided at White Poplar, simplifying wedding organization.
White Poplar holds certain rules for fireworks and décor. The venue charges a firework fee, and only a sober person can set it up at an approved location. Confetti isn’t allowed, but sparklers and rose petals are welcome.

AJ & Dillon have a SPECTACULAR venue that is easily one of my faves to photograph. They run their venue seamlessly and it's so easy to work with them & their staff! With so many stunning & picturesque spots around the property, it's pretty hard to go wrong here. I 10/10 recommend The White Poplar over and over and am always beyond thrilled to receive an inquiry that has their venue booked for their wedding As a wedding photographer, I get the opportunity to shoot at dozens of venues every year. We had our wedding here on September 18, and I cannot speak more highly of them. AJ and Dillon were the most amazing hosts and they made everything during the day go so so smoothly. They helped with setting out our snacks and drinks and made all our guests feel so welcomed. The grounds were so beautiful, the grass was so soft. They have a great room to get ready in for both the gents and the ladies and the pavilion for the reception was so beautiful asThis was the most amazing experience ever. The bridal suit was perfect for the girls to get ready, and upstairs for the groom and groomsmen. You have tons of options when it comes to where you want to get married on the property - we chose inside the trees where it was secluded and private.
