- AAnna and Marko10/08/2026Bad ExperienceBad ExperienceWe recently had our rehearsal dinner at Merrill House, communication was non existent, they ignored our emails for months. After finally hearing back, we were connected with a catering company out of no where- LAB hospitality. This is after a deposit was paid under the impression it was in house catering (which used to be incredible). Service the night of the rehearsal dinner was incredibly slow, the bartenders did not know how to open a bottle of wine leaving my family having to do so, it took 30 minutes from the time the first guest received their main meal to when the last guest received theirs. Food itself was mediocre at best, dessert was crème brûlée that was from Costco, it even still had some of the metal wrapping on the top. My family members had to go behind the bar to get water since the servers were hiding most the time. LAB hospitality is also very deceiving, never sharing pricing for anything, most communication with them was over the phone as well. They told us to pick 3 canapés to go along with our meal, never mentioning they are at an additional charge, until AFTER the event. Our experience was absolutely horrific and would highly recomend all couples to stay away from Merrill House and LAB Hospitality for any events.
