The Herb Garden is one of the most unusual outdoor wedding venues in Almonte, only half an hour from Ottawa, making it a tranquil setting for ceremonies and wonderful marquee receptions.
The Herb Garden is a full-time operating garden with plant sales, gift shop and social events taking place in the garden.
Wedding Capacity at The Herb Garden
The Herb Garden can accommodate up to 80 people for a sit-down wedding reception in the Heritage Barn. If you rent a tent, the capacity expands to 130 people maximum.
Hosting a Wedding at the Herb Garden
You can choose any of the beautiful locations around the field for your ceremony. Once you exchange vows, your friends can have cocktail hour on the veranda or covered Patio while you take pictures anywhere around the property.
Additional facilities, such as Bergamot Barn, include rooms for couples to get ready, freshen up or relax.
The accommodation options nearby are vast, but for group bookings, The Herb Garden partners with The Holiday Inn and The Suites, to provide you with group booking discount rates.
In addition to the venue, the Herb Garden provides parking for 100 guests.
Food and Beverage at The Herb Garden
The Herb Garden partners with the Mixing Bowl catering company to offer delicious wedding menus. In addition, if you have some special requests, the team at the Herb Garden can select other local companies to match your style and budget.
The BYO alcohol venue policy requires obtaining Special Occasions Permits from the AGCO and liability insurance. The caterer includes the bar staff.
